man aside from the nute burn, those are some really healthy, beautiful plants, really bushy and close nodes, if those turn out female they will be AWESOME. good luck. oh, how much height to you have to work with cause they will stretch 2-3 times their height

Cheers raeman! It's nice to hear compliments:mrgreen: Oh that's not nute burn, it's nute deficiency from over watering, I only fed them twice and that was dilute. Sorry I don't think I've actually mentioned this yet but they are feminized.:hump: I have about 18 inches, give or take. They're 6 inches now and my last 2 only doubled in height so I'm not panicking.:blsmoke: Plus I'm keeping them on the blue 125w enviro for the first 2 weeks of flowering to stop them streching for maximum compactness, which I didn't do on my last grow, DOH!

Thanks Fletch, Enviro's are definitely the way to go, you can't beat 100% PAR.:hump: I have actually got another 125w blue under my bed, I used both of them for my last grow after 3 weeks veg then wacked in the red 200w, so in total 450w were being used! Although it was shit because for almost the entire flowering my temps were in the high 30's sometimes 40's!!!! still got 30g dry from 2 plants with 4 weeks veg, and 7 (I shortened it) weeks flowering. I WOULD LOVE TO PUT THE OTHER 1 IN BUT YOU HAVE TO REMEBER i HAVE NO VENT! When I get the red in there I may keep the blue in there vertically at the back if the temps don't get outer control:blsmoke:

oh yeah man you should def have ventilation for temps and strong stems and CO2

Yeah I'd love to but ventiltion is completely out of the question, I also did the whole yeast thing but then gave up, I have heard that it's not worth it unless your using HID.

O.K so this morning I woke them from a long 30 hour sleep, and they've strecthed a bit. I can also see a bit of fert burn coming through now from when I foliar fed them, but hopefully it'll just fuck off!:blsmoke: Good news though I found me moms facial tanner up in the attic, so going to be using that for the last 2 weeks of flowering for THC stimulation, don't know if any1 has been following that? There's a thread on advanced growing.

Thanks Buddha, I actually started flowering last night. Yeah I was thinking about putting the other 125w blue in there for the lower branches for veg, but it was just to much hassle with the heat, and the old man getting a bit pissed with the power bill. So I thought I'd keep it simple, 125 blue for veg and 200w red flowering. It's really hard to find a grow thread where some1 has only used envirolites, I know the reds aren't brilliant for flowering but in the space I've got they're the best. If you want to see what a simple, uncomplicated setup with minimal power consumption can get you, stick around.:blsmoke::blsmoke::blsmoke:

can i ask why VENT IS NOT AN OPTION???
of course ganjageek, I can't be fucked! No seriously I couldn't because I live in a rented house and I'm not going to start cutting out holes all over the place. Also it's sort of a stealth grow, the old mans ok with it being this simple but if I start wiring up fans in and out he'll get a bit iffy. And the fact that it's a built in wardrobe so fuck knows where I could put the extractor, I'd have to put it on the wardrobe door! And I love me doors.:blsmoke:

Plants are doing nicely BTW PPL.:hump:

ahh i see, rented place, gottcha. i was just saying even a small 3 inch hole and pc fan for exhaust would lower temps a bit.

It's very tempting, although temps are fine its around 26c, I wanted it more for fresh air for my ladies,:hump:

restored hope in my current grow mate!

im gonna be using a 125w and 200w (or 250w i forget) enviros. then switch to the red bulb on the 125w.

4 plants, got a bit more height than you so wont be as compact but they are lookin great.

good luck! i'm taking some pics now and might put a journal thing on if i dont mess it up. im gonna veg at about 40 cm and see what happens.

your bill stayin low?

Sweet, can't wait to see how you get along. So are you going to be using a blue 125w and a blue 200w for veg, and then replace the 125 with a red? If so sounds good, except it would be ideal to have the 200w red and the 125w blue, because you always want more red than blue during flowering. Oh and you must keep them compact with these lights, if you've got more space great, but don't just let them get all lanky. The secret to using these lights is keeping your plants compact so the light doesn't weaken as much when reaching the lower foliage, ppl don't have that prob with HID coz the light has so much penetrating power:hump:. 40cm sounds good, if all goes well you should be getting at least 1/2 ounce per plant. And yes my bill is staying low after all it's just 125w, not much more than your average bulb in a room, I just turn lights of around the house, turn the T.V off stand by, only put enough water in kettle ect. and it tends to balance it out.
