A civil debate?

Why is everyone assuming I voted for Trump? When I was told Trump was running for president I didn't believe it for like three months, I thought it was a joke. I've been outspoken about Trump since I realized he was being serious. I think the man is a joke. No I did not vote for him. But why not instead of just jumping the gun and starting to slam somebody for why they think the way they do, ask why. Try and understand. All I was trying to do was get a good debate going where we could discuss shit without half the people on here right now doing what they are fucking doing. Turning it into an angry argument. We can't just talk. I'm the juvenile? What exactly is juvenile about trying to spark civil debates? Fuck me right let's just all call each other names and not actually get anywhere.
Well, I gave you a list of assumptions and questioned them.

All you've done since is whine.

Take the first assumption that I question:

Passing a tax law that uses national debt to transfer a trillion dollars to a very small group of already wealthy people is an honest act of "we all want to make America better"?

Tell me why you think passing this law makes America any better.

Then tell me how we should act if Nazis were killing people. Should we just reason with them because, after all, "they just want to make America better". Right wing radicals are literally killing people with the tax bill that is enriching wealthy Americans. Can there be rational discourse with murderous Nazis? Should there be rational discourse with Right wing radicals who are killing people with legislation?

Ah, the core of the current "Libertarian" movement.

LOL, you posted an appropriately abused copy. If it were me, I'd have used the pages to pick up my dog's poop. What a god awful novel.

You left out the Mises Institute, which is the pseudo-academic arm of right wing Libertarian philosophy.

What Is the Mises Institute?
Mission Statement

The Mises Institute exists to promote teaching and research in the Austrian school of economics, and individual freedom, honest history, and international peace, in the tradition of Ludwig von Mises and Murray N. Rothbard. These great thinkers developed praxeology, a deductive science of human action based on premises known with certainty to be true, and this is what we teach and advocate. Our scholarly work is founded in Misesian praxeology, and in self-conscious opposition to the mathematical modeling and hypothesis-testing that has created so much confusion in neoclassical economics.

The torch bearer for the Libertarian philosophy is founded in opposition to science and mathematics because those disciplines disprove their theories.

The word "worn" was in my Google search. I had hoped to find a worse one. Perhaps battered would have been more appropriate.

Utah went hard for Trump. Mormons at the very least had a debate but their conservative homophobic values, of course, aligned better with Trump.

So, tell me is it OK to kill Nazis who are murdering people? What's so bad about yelling "hey stop that, asshole!" at right wing radicals who are literally killing people by cutting healthcare services for the poor?

Lol how have I whined exactly? But the reason I didn't reply to your psot was because it's been the most rational on here so far. I was just mostly talking to the toddlers throwing their pissy party. But I'll take your questions one at a time and we'll have a real discussion eh?
First off, I don't think passing that law is beneficial to America. Our tax system is so backwards and corrupt we could talk for days on just that. Secondly. How are right wing radicals 'literally killing people with the tax bill.' Do you realize what that would mean? Right wing radicals roaming the streets with a bunch of folded papers either bludgeoning or paper cutting people to death? There were muderous nazis in the world. They killed millions of people. But not with tax bills. I don't believe in taking money from public schools or not looking into more reliable sources of energy. I agree with you. I just don't feel the need for all the hate.
But I've never read atlas shrugged. I believe in individual liberty and minimal govt. How does that go against science?

Cutting funds for medical services to the poor is literally killing people who can't afford them. Do I need to cite references?

There's nothing bad about yelling 'hey stop that, asshole.' but we're not doing that. We're sitting on our computers arguing with other regular citizens, not making calls to our leaders in gov't actually demanding change. If a five year old does something wrong and they don't think they're doing something wrong you don't scream at them until they get it. You hear them out about why they don't think it's wrong and then explain why it is. Yeah republicans suck. But so do the democrats. Their all crooked politicians who don't give a shit about the people. Only their own interests. So let's blame the people actually doing it. Not lump every single person into a group and throw them under the bus.

Do you support cutting medical services for the poor?

No I don't support cutting medical services for the poor. But how is saying that all of the politicians are corrupt naive exactly?

It was however pretty fucking naive of me to believe that people could have a conversation on the internet without insulting each other. My bad everybody. Just trying to stimulate a productive conversation but instead I'm seeing juvenile insults being thrown (mostly at me) for saying 'hey maybe we could all get along.' I'm just baffled. Fogdog I agree with you. We should stand up when we see something wrong going on. But taking to the internet and arguing over internet threads only hurts the ideals we stand behind, it doesn't help others see why it's a valid point.

I think the funniest thing about this is my saying a positive message really seems to be getting to you huh uncle baldrick? Listen you can keep talking shit to me and I'll keep laughing at it. You think you're better than me? LOL. I'm going to keep hoping for more rational thinkers who aren't just out to try and spark arguments. You're a little person and a troll who likes to belittle others. You insult me for trying to bring on logical debate? I'm perfectly happy. But you? I'm starting to think this stuff is really getting to you. Don't worry buddy, I liked to lash out on the internet when I was a kid too.
