Those are nice. Let them go longer next time. I grow with t5 and only use 432 watts. I didnt weigh it but I know there was half pound or better.

Wait for them to crown. The final swell. The top of the bud will look like a crown. The hairs receed and calyx swell. Get a loop or microscope and wait for some amber tricomes.

This is what the final swell looks like.

I like what your doing. This next run, top a couple times and do some LST to open the canopy up. Super crop them.

Look into scrog, fimmimg, topping, lst, super crop to get the most yield from those CFLs.

Good job. Enjoy my friend and welcome to riu.

As I appreciate the advice, the bag seed plants were done. They absolutely did not need to go any longer. They were fox tailing and had amber trichomes three weeks ago. They were on the final swell. They were done.

As for the ChemDawg x Ghost train haze plant. That plant's lower budsites did not get enough light. I did that on purpose to try an reveg her for clones. I could have let the ChemDawg go longer but I am ready to start over. I am happy with what I got out of her.

Overall, Ya I could have use better lights and used training method other than topping. This was my first grow and I needed some good quality bud quickly, which I got.

Next grow will be the real deal, LED with scrog and other training methods.

I get it. I wasn't knocking the grow. Just food for thought. If your running the lights, might as well get as much as you can out of it.

One more thing to think about. Very few strains are true eight weekers. When using floros the transition is slower. I don't count that as my flowering time.

Depending on strain I start counting flowering 7-10 days after flip to 12/12. Breeders times are often wrong to.

If it says eight weeks I mentally prepare for 11 weeks.

25% of your weight with be put on in the last few days.

Some strains amber early.

Let one go longer. You won't be disappointed.
