hell yeah! i found them on amazon and couldn't believe how much cheaper they are compared to other "grow" brands. i use mine to control my grow room temp using outside air. works great!

I have found info on MCOB from about 3 or 4 years back. but, yeah pretty new tech.. If you are going to get a house lamp light bulb, MCOB is the best. And the MCOB horticulture lamps are looking seriously nice.

I would research into what kind of chips they use, just because they pull 900w from the wall does not mean they put out a better lumen/watt

Yeah im not so sure, their FAQ says they use Epistar LED chips, same ones in the cheap Mars Hydro LED panels. I didnt know Epistar makes COBs i would have to look into that... you have to be very skeptical when shopping for LED grow lights, theres a lot of bullshit out there.

Excellent grow Trap. I like the Inkbird and will be looking into one of them. Do they have a built in timer or do you hook it up inline with the fan? Plants look great.

Thanks Grundle, the thermostat has 3 ends, 1 is a plug that simply goes into an outlet, 2nd end is the temperature probe, and the 3rd end is an outlet, 2 outlets to be exact. 1 labeled "cooling" and the other "heating".
I hooked up my fans to a small 4 outlet power strip, then hooked that power strip up to the "cooling" outlet on the thermostat. So whenever temps hit 3 degrees above my set temp (75f) the fans will kick on at 78f and will shut off when it hits 3 degrees below the set temp.
You could indeed hook this all up to a timer, but because it simply goes off of temperature, its already cool in there when the lights go out so the intake fans are off for most of the night cycle .

So trying to dial down the Coco feeding, went to the local hydro store and put together a little system, 16 sprinkler stakes, 2 per pot. Feeding 1gallon a plant every day, with nutes. Got a 32gallon trashcan from lowes for $15 as the main reservoir. Fill it with 8 gallons every day and run the pump till its all gone, with the pressure regulators it feeds equal amount of water/nutes to each plant (1 gallon). No more ducking under the net with a pitcher of water lol.

exactly what i think, i cannot find a good source of info on how often/the amount to feed plants in 5gallon pots of coco. They need 1gal to water to runoff, and everyone says they need to be watered till runoff everyday. So i am doing a little trial you could say. see how they respond to 1gal every 24hours and if its too much cut back to every other day. what do you think? i dont have any experience with coco unfortunatley, just what the internet can teach me.
I have not used coco, but have you checked the moisture level after a day? Feeling them 1 gallon is fine, but they may not need it daily. Plants, soils, coco, it all varies greatly and what works for one person/environment/plant may not work for the next. I would think that 1 gallon every 2 days would be plenty. I always like to find out early what the plants like and consume.
Give them a gallon and see what they do over 2 days. If you see them droop, then you know its not enough. If they go 2 days without drooping, then 1 gallon is enough. You may have to adjust throughout the grow. I know my girls are drinking less right now @ week 6 than they were early on when they were stretching. 2 gallons in 7 gallons of soil lasts 3 days right now (for about 5 weeks, they needed 2 gallons every 2 days).
Give them a gallon and see what they do over 2 days. If you see them droop, then you know its not enough. If they go 2 days without drooping, then 1 gallon is enough. You may have to adjust throughout the grow. I know my girls are drinking less right now @ week 6 than they were early on when they were stretching. 2 gallons in 7 gallons of soil lasts 3 days right now (for about 5 weeks, they needed 2 gallons every 2 days).

The other way round is usually the way to go.
With coco, once roots have developed well, you can hardly overwater. But make sure those roots have spread first.
New pot / transplant => You may want to let the coco dry, a little, just enough for roots to "colonize".
Then increase frequency:
=> Water every 2-3 day for soil like results. (use bigger pots or it will become daily)
or
=> Water upto to 3-7x/day for hydro like results. (can use smaller pots)
or
=> find what's best for you, somewhere in between.
That's the beauty of coco.
Obviously when you feed 5 times a day, (you'll need less per feeding to reach run off, but ..) will waste more nutes/solution overall.

Thank you for the advice @EfficientWatt !! It will definitely help a lot. So these guys are going to be in their 5gal smart pots for their remaining life. Do you think that 1 gallon every day is too much? or should it be 2 half gallon feeding twice a day? I even considered 1 gallon twice a day, but seeing the runoff i thought once a day should be good for now until they get bigger.The other way round is usually the way to go.

Just have it be 3 litres a day. Then once they go into flower, do a gallon and a half (6litres) a day. Make sure you go buy the 360* downward sprayers to get an even coverage. DO NOT just put a drip line in there that drips on the same spot everytime with drop after drop. It's shit.I know i know, the pots are just really big

Yeah they are 360 "jet spray" stakes. they get around the whole pot pretty good, i want to get the drip rings though, they didnt have any at the hydro store.
They use actual watts drawn from the wall.

Actually i already have a 2 plant DWC hydro planned to practice before tackling a large amount of plants.
The ladybugs were actually for the other side of the tent where we saw some mites early in veg, put a total of 7000 by now i think lol, so they kind of just made their way to that side of the tent. They even somehow made it all the way to the mother plant on the other side of the room in a closet haha
