I want in, not seen the post in time for the last two contest. Made it this timeas long as they're not a cut off on amount of people stuck on page 18 wanted to put mine in so I can go finish reading
Just to let everyone know I will be using the new H380 Kessil 90w LED light, it does have a switch to select growing or flowering.
I will be using the same light the whole time, hope no one has any issues with this..
my ? Is does some of the lights run on the veg mode and different lights run on the flower mode as in different LEDs/light source, on the same fixture at different times?
I used my rw-75 for the last comp so you should be fine with that. Its taking light sources out and replacing with a different that is not allowed throughout the comp.

First off I would like to thank @FrozenChozen for letting me post this question to you guys.

I wanted to ask all the Grow Cup participants for their opinion on a question that has been floating around here at Green Gator Filters.
What two filter sizes do we need to add to our line?

We have come down to these filter specifications below, and we want your opinions on if they are something that would help you in your grow room needs.

The Specs are:

For a 4” Fan
12 lbs of Carbon - 14.75” wide – 7” high – 2” Bed Depth(Short and Stocky. We also could make this one long and skinny. Which version would be best?)

For a 8” Fan
42lbs of Carbon – 15.5” wide – 16.75” high – 3” Bed Depth

What do you guys think of these options? Please PM me with your thoughts and we will do our best to continue to make filters that are engineered with growers in mind.

Good luck to everyone in the Grow Cup, I hope to see lots of contestants make it the finals!

@The Gator I personally would go with the 8" in a long and skinny version, takes up less floor space and I like the idea of possibly being able to reverse it and extend lifetime.
@The Gator
Personally I'd prefer the stocky 4".... I have been building stealth apartment grow boxes (3'x3'x4') and a 4" would fit A LOT of my customer's needs....
@Horsetooth @FrozenChozen Thanks for the information! I appreciate you guys taking to time to reply.

Also thank you to everyone else who has responded! If you havent responded but would like to, please send me a message anytime id love to hear from you!.

Good Luck to everyone in the Cup!

@TheGator,

I'd say the stockier 4" vs the long. Just because I'm doing grow cab grow not rooms or big massive plants. Hence the reason I'm looking forward to your new cab filter setup come out.

Something that's helpful for grow cab air quality and odor control.

What does everyone use for camera?

I was looking at buying the new Nikon D5500, just unsure if I actually wanna spend the money for it. Could just unsure about it.

My light for the comp is almost finished up. I'm not happy with the build quality, but I guess it's called a 'prototype' for a reason.

@The Gator - I'd say long and skinny for both the 4" and 8", IMO.
I wanna see the light. I'm doing one myself for this comp as well.

Canon 7D, the Nikon D5500 is a nice beginner DSLR. Pick up some prime lenses and you'll be good to go.
