I'm wondering why there arent many people commenting on your journal? Good work on your plants mate! It's a shame you are getting those problems so late in flowering, those fat juicy buds look great! I am only onto my 4th grow and have noticed this before so in my opinion it looks like a magnesium deficiency. One question buddy, are those royal dwarf on 12/12? If so when did you switch and what age are they look amazing!

the royal dwarf has pretty much been under the schedule of the other plants, they were 18/6 for about 5 weeks from seed, then 12/12 from there. If i had another light id leave the dwarf under 18/6 but for now 12/12 worked just fine. Im planning on getting some Himalayan Blue Diesel seeds for which im def. getting another 600HPS to leave them 18/6 throughout their life.

and about the posts idk either lol, i see tons of views on the thread but hardly any comments. Thankfully the people who DO comment have positive things to say.

Thanks!

Good to know about the royal dwarfs, im growing 3 afghan kush ryders and they are just over 5 weeks old under a 400w hps with a few other non-autoflowering plants which i was hoping to switch soon to 12/12, but they are all going through terrible problems....Nobody has given good info i made a post about them asking for help on the marijuana plant problems page. https://www.rollitup.org/marijuana-plant-problems/494035-plant-problems-please-help-possible.html

my question to both of you, is if you are doing auto's, why are you 12/12?

not sure if you read my post, but I said I only have one light for autos and my photoperiod plants, so i cant do 18/6 because my other plants are flowering too. I also mentioned im getting another strain and for those I WILL be using 18/6.

on another note, im watering the dwarf one last time then im sure itll be time for the chop! most pistils are orange now, i was going to check on the trychomes but the batteries on my microscope died so ill check tomorrow.

The biddy early started turning yellow (older fan leaves) i doubt its Nitrogen problems, its gotten enough and ive given it some from time to time after flowering. So im sure its a magnesium deficiency and finally went and bought botanicare cal-magPLUS (also has iron) hopefully its not too late. it seems to have taken a toll on my plants because i havent seen any difference in the flowering in a few days.

I'll tell you what... that calmag does wonders... I have also used it in foliar feeding @ half strength with good results. (not so much during bud tho... )

took a small popcorn bud from my dwarf to dry, plant hasnt been chopped off yet it has some days to go.

Is it good to trim fan leaves off now for airflow and let some more light get to the lower buds?

I would, last week or two... but that's me... many people wont at all... its really a matter of personal preference IMHO

The "sample bud" smells like hay, big time. but its probably because i left a decent amount of leaves on it since they were pretty frosty. I know cureing properly will help so we'll see how it turn out.

probably too early of a sample, i just checked the trychs at the very top of the plant and i cant see ANY amber ones yet, probably 50/50 cloudy and clear, but none amber

then if you do a trim, maybe trim half the leaf, and not the whole thing off... so you get both worlds covered... light penetration, and energy production from fan leaves.

To turn them purple ice water for the last 2 weeks and put them in the fridge for an hour each day for the last week this well work.

smoked the dwarf sample, its very pleasing i must say. smell is much better after a few days of burping the jar. High was not couch locking at all, very nive elevating high. Ill probably grow this little thing again.

The rest of the plant is still alive, gonna wait for the amber trichs even though i liked the high right now.

both the biddy and the super skunk seemed to stop flowering, or the buds seem to have stopped getting thicker. Theres pretty much no differenct from the last pictures i posted of them. Plants are up and whatever damage they obtained from nute burn is sitll there but it stopped getting worse. Its seems the were stunted by the stress. Any idea on how to give them a kickstart again or just wait and see what happens?

the buds on the biddy are small and not plump or anything, and ive started noticing some color changes in the pistils on buds in the bottow of the plant, which is way too early by the looks of the plant.
