I noticed your nutes are AN grow, micro and bloom. Those are hydro nutes arent they?
well i used FF-Grow Big for veg (for soil) and im using GH-Flora Bloom for flowering (meant for hydro) but i read that all the GH nutes can be used for soil.

Question on the Biddy Early, i know it takes low temps to turn the leaves purple, and its getting pretty cold in my city already (currently 37 Fahrenheit). I was thinking about maybe taking the plant out at night or leaving it next to a window slightly cracked open for lower temps. but what temperature do i need for purple plants, and what temps are TOO low?

also, if i was going to start changing the temperatures, is it best to wait until maybe the last 3 or 2 weeks of flowering?

another question, how far should i keep my lights from my plants during flowering. Ive read 18 inches but that seems kind of far, specially if my flants are a bit tall then the lower branches would get MUCH less light.

Thanks!!

I woke up today to find my dwarf with brown spots, and leaves SLIGHTLY yellow, mostly the upper leaves on the main cola. Then i got home from work roughly 12 hrs later and its much more yellow and more burnt. I realized something, ive been feeding it the same as the bigger plants, im guessing this took a toll on the little one. Im thinking of flushing the soil tonight.

Also, the bigger plants are starting to show very slight burn at the tips, so im laying off the nutes for this week and see the progress.

Is it ok to water with molasses? or will this cause burn as well?

Thanks ahead for any input, +rep for helpful tips!

I hate when people never post pics when they want help with a plant problem, so i decided to upload some for myself. What kind of burn do you guys think it is? leaves are crispy to the touch. two of the bigger leaves are pretty yellowed as pictured. the rest just have brown spots with no yellowing. and at the lower branches theres isnt much damage.

EDIT: after some quick research, it seems it might be magnesium deficiency??? anyone want to confirm?

SECOND EDIT: might as well ask, on my Skunk the top leaves are a bit lighter than the bottom ones, i thought it was just my eyes, but once i turned off my HPS and turned a regular light bulb on i could see the difference. Now ive read that it could be lack of nitrogen, but then my leaves have burnt tips which ive read is from too much nitrogen. Im confused now!!! any help?

The yellowing is getting worse, working from the top leaves down. Should i do a flush with water/epsom salt?

anyone? i really would appreciate some kind of input. It seems it stopped yellowing but the damage is still there and id like to identify what caused and what i could to to help it.

UPDATE: looks like were back on track, after a good flush to all plants it seems all healthy. The dwarf did get some irreversible damage but the spreading of spots and yellowing has completely stopped.

Yeah, looks pretty good although you've got some burn going on I think you'll make it to the end.

I had some burn problems recently with a nl, she's sensitive and I really didn't take the time to slowly introduce flowering nutes (my fault)

So I just watered her, let her dry out and gave her a half dose of what she was normally getting. You can't reverse the burn damage on the leaves that has already occurred but you can stop it from getting worse.

You're looking good though!

yeah my skunk seems to be sensitive, im going to go light on it from now on. I flushed it 2 days ago and it stopped it from getting worse. other than that the plant seems to be locing life always perky and its never been droopy or anything. I just hope i cna make it to the end like you said.

I flushed the super skunk AGAIN, i got home to find more burn on the tips, and found some of the younger leaves with this other type of burn (pictured). I had removed some of the older fan leaves because of this but not its affecting the small ones too, mainly at the bottom of the plant. Like i said i flushed it again, then watered with molasses.

woke up to find thw dwarf twice as frosty as yesterday, looked under some buds and it seems like they were dipped in a bag of sugar. I wish i had a camera with flash to show you guys, the lighting under HPS gives it no justice, and by the way this is one stinky little lady!

UPDATE: Biddy Early's buds are rapidly growing, i can see a difference every day. The Dwarf is STILL getting frostier and buds are STILL getting fatter, i must say i love this little plant if the smoke is as good as it looks ill definitely be growing more.

now the skunk, burn is still there, getting worse, slowly but surely. It seems the stressed has really taken a toll on the flowering. The buds are taking a loooong time to get bigger unlike the biddy which you can already see a good 12inch+ main cola buds.

Pictures tomorrow with some regular non-HPS lighting.

I see the view keep growing so thanks for everyone who stops by, and againt input/criticism is greatly appreciated.
