So my buds are plumping up sooo nicely, maybe 20 hairs on 1 bud have turned, everything else is still white. These things are really bulkin up and pumpin out crystals. I love brushing up on the bud I get a piney/lemony funk! Freakin delicious smelling. 4 to 6 weeks left I cannot wait haha!
Seedlings are doin good bomberry is amazing dutch treat is still small as fuck and it looks like it fim'ed itself the smallest one is poppin up with 3 tops and the other has stoped doing main growth and auto topped itself. I really don't like it and I might throw it out I am very selective and its so freakin far behind...

Mwah ha ha. I swear every time I hit week 3 and go 'oh no they aren't big enough! where are the crystals?!'. Then I hit week four and go 'mmhmm, they are plumping up nice, when can i cut?'. Then week five 'I swear they are done, it's just a fast strain right? Please let me cut it?'. Then week 6 and 7 come and they just explode over night and then you want to let em go another 3 just to see if it happens again.

God damn I'm impatient. Sounds like its going great!

I think I'm gonnaa move my fan from outside the tent to inside under the canopy blowing up. I think it might help with humidity getting all that moist air circulating but who knows. My fan should be able to pull enough air in to not need a intake but we will see tonight.

Moved my fan inside ill know if the temps and humidity stay in check by tommorow evening and ill also post some pics tommorow. How long does it take for the hairs to change, I have about 5 buds with like 5% of their hairs turning.

ed the dutch treat today, it wasnt wasn'tgrowing at all and its leaves had weird lookin holes in them and they all auto topped and I didn't want any mutants so I chopped em, on a better note a friend of mine went to michigan, I asked em to go to this one dispensary that carries tga gear and snag me some plushberry...fingers are fuckin crossed!

Nice man, I can's wait to try out some tga gear. I have a space bomb and querkle seedling at the moment and I yesterday ordered several pick 'n' mix for a breeding project. I bet that plushberry is dank, I wish they had singles of it...

At least i hope... these were taken 2 days before the start of week 5. lemme know what you think.2011-04-22 23.15.33.jpg2011-04-22 23.15.10.jpg2011-04-22 23.22.48.jpg2011-04-22 23.14.53.jpg2011-04-22 23.15.41.jpg2011-04-22 23.15.56.jpg

Lovely big hairy golf ball sized nugs. Too bad about that dutch treat :( Hairs can really vary in how long they take take to turn color, pull into the calyx, as well as how much they pull in. I've had buds where the hairs at the end were almost completely gone and others where they barely pull in at all.

I gave my girls the weekend without me but I'll try and get pics up soon. Happy bunny day if you celebrate it.

Does your camera have a "white balance" feature? I flip mine to "incandescent" mode when taking pics in the tent and it reduces the yellow from the HPS and brings out truer colors.

You could also try taking pics as soon as the lights go out.

A lot of hairs are starting to turn I'm hopeing this is a 8 week strain. I'm really happy with how this is going and I would never have expected the ease of soil growing and the nutrients I'm using. I transplanted the 3 bomberrys into 1 gallons 2 were in my of mix and one in sunshine. The one in sunshin was fed immediately with a low feeding and myco maddness. I'm thinkin if I do that I won't have the issues I had last time. We will see. As for my buds...man! The odor I get when I touch a leaf is soooo dank/piney lemony. Do buds shrink a lot when they dry or just lose a lot of weight. I have some really dense nugs forming and I don't want them to shrink just dry out. I don't remember how much mass I lost last time just how much weight. I know they say 75% for weight but what percentage do the buds shrink?

ok so my humidity has averaged 70% the last 3 days, low 58% its been rainy and wet outside and I vent back into the room. It has peaked to 81% and I can now smell a musky damp smell setting in. I'm getting damprid today, like 20 -30 dollars worth. My question is if that is just a damp smell and not mold or do they come hand in hand, my buds look and smell perfectly healthy my room is just too high. Let me know please!!

Also how the fuck do I lower humidity? Will I be battleing humidity my whole growing career. Or is it just a april may showers kinda deal? Do I need to invest in a dehumidifier?

Yeah humidity is most affected by the weather outside, so it's tough to deal with. Dehumidifiers are good, air conditioners will dehumidify and cool the air, damp rid might help a little.

An oscillating fan or two helps as well. Keep that air moving!

I have 2 8in oscilating fans one at canopy height and one under the canopy blowing upwards as well as my extraction fan 450cfm but its dummed down to about 300 350 for noise reasons, and as for a ac my place won't let you do anything like put in a window ac and my ac for the house is down right now. Hopefully I can get the issue resolved I'm gettin th damprid after work.

Humidity can be a pain. Super weather dependent for me - if it's raining outside there's no way I can drop mine to lower than 75% even with a dehumidifier running 24/7. I find that it is much easier to increase airflow than decrease the humidity. Although the indicas will supposedly grow a bit better with the lower humidity the larger concern is really powder mildew and bud rot. In most cases you could have 80% humidity and as long as you have enough airflow you'll be ok.

Just make sure there is no condensation where leaves overlap :)

Ok will be sure to check and shit, what about thinning my canopy to increase airflow would that do more harm or help. If it would help which leaves should I thin?
