I planted the seed into the soil on Friday December 2nd. Started the 18/6 cycle on Saturday December 17th. I started 12/12 cycle on Friday December 23rd. OH SHIT!!! THIS PUTS ME AT 5 WEEKS ON FRIDAY MY BIZZLE PEOPLE!!!!!!!! But still, 5 weeks in flowering.
IT takes a plant about a week to adjust before you can really say she is flowering.

with the wrong spectrum as you said before. lol just change to a warmer bulb, they're cheaper too if you're going cfl.

Usually I veg from seed for about six weeks to make sure the plant is fully mature. Flowering a plant early will cause stretching as well as time to mature before it will begin to form budsites.

It certainly can affect it. I know it takes me about two weeks to see anything when I flower something earlier than I should.

Basically, if someone can just tell me exactly what type of lights to buy and how many of them I need for flowering. I need:lumens, color, wattage, ect. I am completely clueless when it comes to lights, so please, just tell me what to get.

warmer spectrum light like 2700k, what's your budget because a hps would be best but is doable with cfl

Okay thanks bro, another thing I need help with: If I have two of the 4200k lights on the side of the plant and 1 of the lighting im already using on top of the plant, is that bad? or will that work? is it bad to have 2 different spectrums on one plant?

Go to walmart and look for 2700k 25w/26w CFLs. They have them for like $2 for a 3 pack at the walmarts near me, usually on the bottom shelf. The packaging looks like THIS. Get 2-3 packs and get them set up in there along the top and sides of the plant. With these you should be good for 1-2 plants. If they have them there, you could get 2700k 42w CFLs (much larger), but I've only seen 2 at the walmart near me, ever.

Basically, you want the most ACTUAL (not equivalent) wattage of 2700k CFLs that you can possibly stuff around your plants.

4200k I think are a little too far towards the middle of the spectrum to really do too much, which could explain why they are stretching, but they really just need a few more lights. The lights you have look to be 25w (100w equivalent, which doesn't really mean much) CFLs, and you can certainly use those, but your just gonna need a few more, especially with a stretchy plant.

As far as mixing spectrums, no it is not a bad thing! However, you definitely want a majority of the bulbs in flowering to be 2700k.

Man just go out and get a better light if you want that plant to produce descent buds. A small amount of light leak in that room wont affect flowering at all!! as long as it isn't brighter then a moon in that room at night. Go out and grab yourself a 150watt hps if money is tight you can get them in most places for $60-$80. To grow with the big boys you gotta spend like the big boys :) been growing for 5 years now and I have learned alot. Any real good grower could point the problem out!! Have any questions add me as a friend and I would be more then willing to help you out.

Maybe check you dollar tree as well. The dollar tree by my house also sells 26watt 2700k CLFS. You can get 2 for a buck. Wall mart or kmart or lowes or home depot should have bulb socket splitters as well to turn 1 socket into 2. Those are usually like 2 or 3 dollars. So pick up 5 splitters, and 10 bulbs = 20 or so bucks = approx 10 thousand more lumens. That will definitely get you going better then you are now
