6 or 8" fan

well, my setup is quite complex, but i seem to get it down just about right. i pull fresh air from outside with a carbon filter, then comes into my room at the bottom, then another 8" fan, exits the entire room out the other 6" hole that i dug out. a sample of my two rooms that i rigged.

If you wanna go real low with the lights then i'd go with the tubes. but keep in mind that tubes block out some of the lights, due to the glass.
I planned to go with a shade
So where exactly is your exhaust going ? Your blowing the hot air into another room? Or outside

had to channel one of my ducting thru my vegging room, (saves me space/time & $$)
Oh true..well I ordered 8" kit and 1000w sunshade kit.

Go put my one light that has no vents far left to my room

With my carbon filter and fan in the middle

And fan blowing into sun hood outside..

Temps are around 83 right now..I'm hoping once I get the second one hooked up and having the filter right in the middle of the lights sucking heat will help..

I guess well have to seeee..

I also wanna build a box for the fan and than just hang the box lol gonna wait till i get the fan tho to make it so I know perfect dimensions

Here in Central Cali I had trouble getting 8" ducting. Home Depot said I had to have a contractor license. I ended up getting it through a small local hardware store.
True well it comes with 30ft of ducting..I'll be rudcing at the hood and probably the window to a 6

Lmfao I did what someone told me and hung the fan n filter already ..and the fucking fan fell off twice lmao..so I rigged it up n taped the shit outa it..the fan actually broke n wouldn't move cause it was rubbing the side so I took it apart n left a screw out to give the fan space lmfao..Now its rigged another reason I bought another fan lol

Outside my room is my laundyr room. Usually sits about 67-71 degrees.
Same place my intake is coming from..

Right outside the door is a brick wall..on top goes over the cieling of a room I just renovated so there's drywall and insulation..
I was thinking if I made a 6" hole in the concrete at the top if it would be okay to vent it along the top of the cieling in the other room between the joists ? This one row runs approx 10ft to the electrical panel although I doutb a little hot air would hurt it if it was even hot by the time it got there..

What do u guys think ?

I would just rather vent inside then out.. For noise issues at window. wonder if it would make my air conditioner run more or barley make a difference?

fyi, just got my 10" fan along with a 10" carbon filter that i ordered from SF. Dang bugga cost me two payroll checks, shoots! Going to try and install it somewhere outside so that i can draw a lot fresh air into my two grow rooms. Crossing my fingers i get this right, don't want my neighbors smelling my girls :bigjoint:

You did what I told you. Must not have used the anchors or didn't screw into a stud. My 6" fans are hanging and are pretty much silent. Looks like you'll have your ventallation under control. Good luck man
