Ok. there was the the big clean up. Everything is taken off the grow room, re-sanitized, put all the cables out of the way, some are fixed, some are shortened...

There is as of now eight 85watts (actual watt) CFL adding up to 680watts and three 32 watt t5 adding up to 96watts making in total of 776watts for 5 plants.

The ph is good, they are fed their last tnt mix and had their foliar spray of epsom salt (during dark), it looks like the time for the bloom vitamin from now on.

Sadly one of the blueberries was found out to be a male, however the rest are females, so now one blueberry, two strawberry coughs and two white widows are left.

Here is the latest pic.

Ok, the flowering has started, today I am adding two more 85 watts warm white (2700k) and one more 85watts daylight (5700k), we ll see if its an overkill for 5 plants. There will be eleven of those 85watts cfl s in there making 935 actual watts plus three 32watt t5 s. I will have 1031 watts in total.

I plan on opening another topic because the header of this topic is wrong now as it states 6 plants and 510 watts whereas I have 5 plants and 1031 watts. If I open a new topic tonight I will put a link here to that too.

Here is the first shot of the coming series, I ll update everyday :)
2 months into veg (with a stunt of growth for 2 weeks in bertween)

Yea, you know what your doing. I can't stand these people coming around asking stupid questions you know? Like this for example:

[newguy]:" Hey yea, uhh i have a question. Could I grow a plant with just one 15watt CFL. Or.. what?"

LOL. I'm not hating on the people that ask us things like that.. hell I was there one day. Except I was reading as much information about growing as I could get my little hands on. Ya dig? We all start some where. It's all good... later. Peace.:peace:

Nice dude. Im stoked to see some one further on then me. We have similar set ups. I am using 872w of CFL (perhaps overkill) in a 5x2.6x3.11 tent for lowryder 2. Let us know how much you yield. What ferts and soil are you using?

Nope. The more light.. the better. Always remember that. ;)
Curious; what were the specs on each of your bulbs though? I've been using CFL lights for the past 8 months. I finally found some 250watt output; 2800Lumens; CFL medium base bulbs. I have a total of four bulbs.
first two bulbs are 250watt; 6500k (for veg cycle)
and the other two are 250watt; 2400k (for my flowering cycle.)
But I am only growing one plant right now. The other two hermied on me.

Nice job though bro. Nice setup and good luck to ya. I'll be watching this one i guess. :)

if you are talking about 250 watt 2800 lumens then you are using the wrong watt rating, when talk ing about cfls you want to talk about the ACTUAL watt usage not the incandescent comparison.

My cfl s are 85 actual watt with 4900lumens each :)
They are in two spectrums, warm white (red heavy in spectrum, better for flowering), and daylight (blue heavy, good for veg)

By the way yesterday night I have made an irrigation system in I think 5 minutes, it is so easy and I can not believe I havent done this before :) It costs less than 50 bucks. It is just a cool box with an aquarium water circulation pump in it, feeding a terminal of 5 outlets, the outlets are modular so you can expand it, there is timer for the pump, I adjusted it for half an hour feeds everyday for two times when lights are on.

Now I can leave my growroom for 5 days, altough I wouldnt for more than 2 nights :) Still I can spend two nights outside :)

Here are the pics, it is working wonderfull by the way.
