IMG_4938.jpgIMG_4937.jpgIMG_4935.jpgIMG_4936.jpgOK, here's a Grape Ape bud that just cut. It's early as you can see. It was exactly 8" long, 52 grams wet. Prolly will be a half zip cause this real dense stuff will hold up about 27-29% of it's wet weight. Most strains average around 20%.

Cut the Grape Ape, it's done, and I cut the 1 Maple Leaf, cause it was foxtailing, and looking like it wanted to hermie or somethin'....idk....the XXX sucks I pulled all but 1 of the them (not done) and hung em' but they prolly gonna go in a butter mix. I left the 1 LA Con and the 1 LA x MK (my cross) to finish...they better hurry I got my soil all but stirred up and my Rommies waiting in the wings....

I pulled the last 2 plants, and put them in a pot to finish. hahah I couldn't stand it anymore. It's replanted with Romulan, and I'll start the thread on it later.

o man thats awesome!!! i have just thrown 2 grape ape plants into 12/12. they had clones taken off of each before hand so i dont lose it. but, i have one leaning towards its skunk ancestor, and one leaning towards the indica part. they both stink SUPER bad. i mean REALLY bad, worst ive ever had by a long shot. its both phenotypes doing it too, with the indica being the more pungent. and mine are only about 14 inches tall too. they came from some seeds that were in bud from a MI dispensary that had apothecary Grape Ape. so i dont know which will be female, but i may even keep a male clone to breed with, i cant believe the vigor and smell of this super dark colored strain. its gnarly! for sure. did yours smell to high heaven and back like mine do? and also, how much did they strectch in flower. i couldnt tell which was which in your photos. nice grow tho!! :)

nah, this cut isn't the good one. You gotta do some searchin' to find a eally good cut, but when you do you know it. Most of these purp strains are slow vegging and don't stretch much, bu it sounds like yours are gonna, so who knows...when it's an accidentaL bag seed, like that, it could've been pollinated by another strains hermies.

well i threw mine in 12/12 and while its still too early to tell which are sexed, they are reaking up the flower room with skunky smell. i can hardly describe the powerful smell that they (especially the indica one) give off. its like if someone tried to smuggle some extremely potent skunk scent glands in high-grade coffee, and garlic cloves with a touch of molasses. its a very complex, old-school-skunk kind of scent. so far they both have stretched a few inches on each branch, so these are gonna stretch at least 200% most likely. just thought id update you on what they are doing. i agree too, there is no telling the true DNA in the seeds. but so far id lean a bit towards them being at least closely related to the real Grape Ape.

What is the average yield of of a hydro setup and 400w with the grape ape? I have tried it a couple times before, and it's amazing!!!!!! I just want to know what to expect from the yield!
