Guys my ph meter broke and this fucking powder ph is messing up my plants.. if i dont keep the ph at the right level whats the worst that could happen ? moneys a little tight right now so its gonna take me atleast a week or two till i get my liquid ph and a new ph meter

ph is super important

Vinegar will lower your ph in a pinch, but make sure it isnt old becuase it can hurt your pants.... go to your local petstore and pick up some ph papers until you can get a ph meter, they are cheap but not as accurate

wtfff my pineapple chunks leaves are starting to curl up cause of this powder ph what should i do ? should i just leave her on tap water or give her nutes ?

Guys my pineapple chunks not looking good at all i know i fucked up but its my first grow it wasnt going to be perfect but i didnt expect it to be this shitty. Atleast now i have the knowledge to grow correctly for my next grow.. I was thinking should i just give up on her and throw my other 2 ladys into flowering ?

I decided to throw these ladys into flowering today.. as u can see i put them in there own bucket, im hoping that she will start growing idk y her growth got stunted. The other one is growing beautifully tho now i just gotta wait 2 weeks to see if there female!

Anyone know whats all that building up in the res ? idk if its the ph down or what but i mixed it in really good this time and it keeps happening. I think what ever this is killed my other plant

yes, thats what i learned the first time as well. seperate buckets. you should keep the one you have for a cloner/vegger, but in flower you will need individual buckets. the roots compete with eachother, and especially that close the tops will also. plants grow to different heights, if they're in the same container thats a problem.

for that slime you should make that DWC slime cure tea (aquashield, ZHO (myco) powder, worm castings, and molasses in water w/airpump for one day) its a famous page on this site.

basically just a little molasses makes all the other products go way further. it fixed that problem when i had it, which i think was from using too much nirvana (organic bloom booster). now i only use the nirvana to make the tea in place of worm castings

I only used Jungle juice m/b and bud candy so far..

the bud candy is feeding the bad bacteria you have, you could have used some peroxide, or you know, bought a book or something

this was happening before i used the bud candy, and i clean the buckets and the airstones with peroxide..

I use the tea and have had great results combating algea in my rdwc, imo brew it for the full 48 hours for the full results... adding sub b/m directly to your res will work, but wont have nearly the same affect the tea will, especially if you having algea problems already. if you do decide to go with the tea make sure you stop using h202 or other cleaning products becuase it will kill of the good microbes that you have introduced to your system.... also cut down on your res temps, light leaks, high ppms and organics if your having a algea problem

plants look pretty droopy what is your High/Low Temp and RH?

temps are around 30-35c there not looking droopy any more tho

also i didnt write but you should use the slime cure tea because it makes the roots grow about 3x faster, especially during veg and early flower.

an the previous guy is right bud candy feeds bad bacteria as well as your plant, it has sugars in it. you wanna brew the tea until the molasses is used up by the beneficial microbes, and then let the benes kill the algae and bacteria. + hes also right about not using ISO after the tea, i learned the hard way, once you kill the benes, the algae/bacteria go crazy on their bodies.

the molasses makes the tea as good as any sweetener i think anyways, ide start using that instead, maybe use the bud candy in the tea if it has organic ingredients. also maybe look at nirvana, probably the cheapest thing made by AN, and i really like it and it goes great in the tea.

I took out the foam and it stopped doing that should i just leave it alone?

The shorter one doesnt seem to be growing shes been the same size for a week or 2 now and shes starting to get spots on her leaves, should i just grow the one thats doing well ? i was thinking about throwing her back into veg once i see if shes female or not is that possible? im trying to yield as much possible if ima be growing just 1 plant.. would it be worth keeping her on flowering from here on out or should i put her back in veg and let it get a little bigger ?
