I would say give the runts time. I have had runts catch up and pass plats that were doing better initially.

I agree, I have a runt right now that I started on 3/24 and it is now big as the biggest one that was started on 3/17 ..still has a way to go though as far as flowering<in real world time it's going on 6wks and 1' tall...but looks like it's 4-5wks old, so it might be a monster in 4-5 more wks. look @ the dates on the pics...:leaf:

Awesome... Those 2 pics are the same plant? That's crazy! And also, what do you mean when you say real world time?

yes you are gonna be using it every water if your using a no nute soil or about 30 days if your using roots organic or ffof. If your gonna grow the purple jems your def gonna need a ppm meter cus they are really nute sensitive I start those at 400 ppm in no nute soil but my tap water is a 170 ppm so really only 230 ppm of nutes. feed every other water and move it up 50 ppm's a week until the plant is a nice healthy green. you wont burn them as long as you pay atention to the coler of the plant. when u water u want to use a half gallon of water an nutes 2 every gallon of soil. This helps flush the left over nutes from last water out and put the new ones in. Its important 2 have water pooring out bottom every water an feed so you are flushing old nutes out. The jems arent the best idea for your first grow but the whiterussians are. You can have those over a 1000 ppms at the middle of flowering.

no it's rite. You give nutes every water if your using no nute soil bye the 2nd week. If your using ffof or roots organic u can start giving nutes every water at about 30 days. I havent gotton 2 ur last page yet but ive grown the jems and you def need a ppm meter 2 grow any of the blue stains. U want to presoke the no nute soil with about 230 ppms of nutes and put the seed rite in soil . Start the seed in the pot your gonna finish it in. Put a piece of seran wrap over the pot and put it in light. This makes a humidity dome and has a better sucsess rate. do a few light waters during the 1st week they pop. Dont water enough for it 2 run out bottom unless you have nutes in water the flood it and push the old nutes out. pay attention 2 the coler of the plant. You want to keep it a nice healthy green not a really dark green. Watch the new leaves coming out of the top of the plant if they are a dark green your about 2 burn it

I'm just super impatient... They did just sprout... I guess I just worry easy............ But hey, better safe than sorry, right.

and to the guy about the nutes... I don't have a ppm meter and won't be buying one until after this grow. I'll be careful feeding them though. Thanks for the help.

yep, the same plant! The pic when it was small/runt was taking on 4/14< that makes it 21 dayz old...tha mutha wasn't even 4" tall! But the first pic tells a diff. story....that is 19 daays later @ 40 days old!!! And what i ment by "real world time" is jus that....the plants age in real life/time is almost 6wks old, BUT, it's wayyyy behind in bud size because it was the runt of tha bunch...def. gotta let her go for another 5wks or so...

dude when you over analyze and over think too much about what COULD go wrong, you will worry yourself for nothing. twist something and let the ladies do what they gotta do.. just observe them.. don't put that negativety into your grow- you will only be dissapointed.

thanks mj... Yeah, I am doing too much worrying... It has alot to do with the fact that I'm practically living in my grow... I need to sit back and relax.....

there will still be updates when things happen, but I'm going to try not to be asking questions and changing the format of my grow every few minutes.lol.

ya first 3 weeks is pretty boring after that its on and poppin' my friend lol
TELL ME ABOUT IT!!!

DAY 8 UPDATE

oh by the way everyone, I fed everyone 1/16 dose of bigbloom when I fed them yesterday. They all responded very well except the smallest one. It got a very light nute burn...... All in all I would say the first feeding was a success. Next feeding wil be with normal water between 6.5-7Ph. I will make sure there is a good runoff to flush any excess nutes from the soil before my second feeding... I'm assuming this will be in about 3-5 days, because I'm thinking the soil will be pretty wet for awhile after I do the normal watering.

Man.. 8 days in FFOF and giving them nutes? Sounds a bit daring to me. I wait at least a couple weeks. Even then I do feed>water>water>etc. Careful :3
