Hey everyone!! I thought I would start a 400w thread since there isn't one on here, at least that i know of. So feel free to post about your grows under your 400w HID, cuz there's no such thing of never enough info about growing this great plant.
I'm on my first grow i had some noob mistakes but i think i got the hang of it. I'm growing a unknown seed i got from a buddy. I'm growing it in a 4'x2'x4' tent and i originally started it in coco but than in week two i transplanted in into a bubbleponic system 10 gallon tube under CFLs where its still in today. Even though it got pretty stressed out from the transplant and lost it first set of leaves it recovered pretty fast in the bubbleponic system. About a week into flowering 12/12 i bought a 250w hps to upgrade from the cfls i was running, it was a lot better than the cfls but not what i was expecting so i exchanged it out for the 400w and i am really happy i did, it has a lot better penetration than the 250 did and really glad i switched to the 400. I'm using General Hydroponics Flora for nutes and currently using a flash wing with it but i might go with a cool tube just to be on the safer side once it gets mid summer. I'm currently running a 6" inline fan with a scrubber as exhaust and 6" inline fan for intake and a small fan that blows in between the top of the canopy and the bulb, i'll probably get another here soon. My plant is 80 days old from sprout, i veg. it for 43 days and i'm on day 37 of flower, its taking a lot longer than i expected but hey its my first grow but i see the light at the end of the tunnel to harvesting so i'm not giving up.
I've started a Blue Mystic Auto flower and its in the tent with my big plant too. Its small but i thought i'd try and grow it in 12/12 and see what happens its in coco in a 3 gallon smart pot and i'll leave it in there too and still use the GH flora plus cal/mag for nutes. Its a month and 2 days old but small since its been in the 12/12 lighting. Once i harvest those two plants i'll start 2 BM autoflowers in coco too under a 400w MH. If anyone wants to put in there input about my grow or just simply just share there grows under a 400w HID feel free to post pics and info about yours too. I'll post updates every couple of days on here about my grow. Happy Growing!!!!
