something i heard dechlorinates water fast is plain old organic unsulphered blackstrap. but this is for soil im talking~ I hear this causes problems in hydro

maybe you could use this info to find out what chemical it is that helps dechlorinate the water so fast. This way you can mix nutes on the spot instead of having to wait 24 hours

I just use API tap water conditioner for aquariums. When I change the buckets I mix 1 ml tap water conditioner in a 5 gallon bucket first before adding silica/nutes/additives/ph/bennies. I have found bennies cannot live in my untreated tap water and I get slimed. If I use the conditioner first, I don't get slimed.

My grow is done btw... I didn't take any pics of harvest, but got about 6.75 oz all together dried... ph pen calibration issues and excess heat made it a little airy and cut into yield (PE was still rock hard nugs). Most of it from one of the SLH and GDP... turns out the GDP is my favorite for all around getting stoned; it's the jar I always crack open when I'm going to load a bowl. The SLH has a crazy vanilla flavor to it... like a scented candle from bath & body works. I have the Blue OG and SSDD in week 2 of flower. They are in coco hempy buckets with perlite res and botanicare pure blend pro and lineup. I like it a lot better than the perlite/vermiculite hempy buckets.

ra pissed man i wish i found this grow sooner, i think i could of helped.

btw the slime you get in the water and over your lines when using bennies with tap water is perfectly fine and will not harm your roots at all.

i think you tried cramming too much into one area tbh, i would say1-2 maybe 3 plants in there max....that slh should have filled that space alone easy.

i think the water cleanser your using is not helping your ph, you should be able to set your buckets and leave them for a week, not checking ph alll the time etc...

better luck next time man!

p.s not ragging on ya just pointing some shit out!

Thanks man... if I didn't dechlorinate I would have to run r/o or switch to sterilizers. The ph issues were 1 - cal or mag deficiency and then once I got that stable it didn't matter cuz 2 - my ph pen was off calibration about 2 whole numbers too high.

??? why man if you drink your tap water its good for ya plants man, ive used the shittyest city water you can imagine (recycled 7 times min) and have always had great results...you can run fine on tap water.......

what nutes are you using? you should only need to ad cal/mag if using ro water, if not your nutes have more then enough to cover it. calmag is not a wonder product.

get the drops man its all you need.....imo your making this well complicated thats all mate, and you would have had better results if you dropped half the gear your using and put less plants in that space.

again not having ago just trying to help you run your dwc properly and get the right results when done correctly it is the biggest yeilding most productive method there is!!

I appreciate the help, and maybe you missed it... but the main problem was my ph pen was about 1.8 points off, so any advice other than 'calibrate your ph pen' isnt really going to do much.
