Ooo JB30 your changing your light schedual after you have already made it go into flowering mode? I dont think thats good for her? : /

And ya I got a like 8" fan blowing on them 24/7. : ) I think thats good enough?

As for the lighting distance, Id move the light down about 5-8" above tips. just as long as you have proper vent in the box, it doesint matter how close you have to tops : )


Ill be posting up pics of my babies tomorrow, You should see how much theyve grown in the past 48 hours! lol!

Hey DaC...

yeah, well I had to switch because my veg room got compromised (taken)...we shall see the outcome of the switch...at least I know now I have all ladies anyways...I raised my light about a foot and a half away from the plant tops...I think this should be better because of the reflector I have on my light...

Jb30 great thread! Very informative and you are so positive with any criticism. Was really interested in seeing the final result of the 12/12 from seed. I'm just making the switch to my first indoor grow and like you I am planning on doing a lot of experimenting. Thanks for the inspiration, and keep up the great work. Oh, and the food dehydrator works? Could you tell any difference in the quality of the taste? From your "walrus post" it obviously didn't interfere with the integrity of the high.

LoL Uriah...yeah man, the smoke is a great high...similar to Maple Leaf Indica/Trainwreck high...
I wouldnt recommend using the food dehydrator for your total harvest...When I harvest my finished product, I'll hang dry and jar the buds and let the full flavor/smell cure...I wish you could smell the fresh sticky buds...it's like nothing I've smelled before...citrusy/skunky/musky/piney...all ball'd into one...I cant wait to smell the finished cure!!!

What do you mean taken? What happined? How much has your electric bill gone up? Im not going to get a 400w HPS because Of the fear of a couple hundred $$ bill. I think I may Just go with the 250w HPS. How many plants do you think I can do 12/12 from seed to harvest under a 250w? I was thinking about 6?

MG time release soil is bad to use.

You are more likely to get nute burn with it as you do not know exactly how much of what is being given to your plants every single time you water.

So for now go light on your feedings of any plants in the mg time release soil.

In the future perhaps...

Use regular potting soil that has some ferts naturally in it. Those will be enough to hold you through the first three weeks of growth. Then they'll basically be gone or atleast on the way out.

yeah man, I'm unhappy with the indoor results using MG potting soil so far...haven't had many complaints in my outdoor growing experience using it...
I've switched to 50/50 perlite/vermiculite soiless mix now...soaked in pH'd water with a drop of superthrive...

I'm also in the design stages of putting together a constant drip feed DWC single site bucket...airstone/waterpump/netpot/hydroton/rockwool....cheap DIY setup that I figure will roughly cost me $60 + bucks with shipping from HTGsupply.com

I'd have enough materials to make a 6 site 25 gal rubbermaid DWC, but I just want to experiment with 1 first...once I get that dialed in, then I'll daisy-chain the buckets together later on...

I'll be using a 5 gallon bucket system setup like the hydrofarm system...

almost forgot to respond to your question...well, my "Veg Chamber" as I put it, was inside my armoir...and now the colder weather is upon me, I need the space for my fall/winter wardrobe :evil:

You have to sacrifice some things to make momma happy...:eyesmoke:

I actually haven't noticed a change in my electricity bill yet...:roll:

Being my first indoor grow, and reading what alot of other growers on here are doing (Randy Rocket) I'm aiming for 1gram per watt...
The plant i took clones from was 4 weeks old

I had to toss those seedlings unfortunatly...the Mrs. thought I was over-doing it a bit...I had like 15 plants growing indoors/outdoors...
I grew other automatic seeds and wasnt happy with the results...IMO just stick with regular strains...better results

The spider is a orb weaver spider known for there webs.That is what it looks like with out looking into it deeper that would be my guess.

Google image seach "female cross spider" Poisonous...Orb Weaver spider is more rounded and blunt...I had a hard time distinguishing between the two, but found out its a cross spider...pretty cool looking huh?

This is one of my indoor bonsai female bagseed at just over 4 weeks old...4 weeks 3 days

Topped, Supercropped & LST'd...1 gallon container, MG potting soil (I now despise), and FF's Grow big @ 1 capful per gallon...watering lightly every 3-4 days with daily foliar spraying...

Hey DaC...glad you're still sittin' in for the ride :) Anyhoo...sorry I kinda dropped off the planet...I've been wicked busy...running around, trimming herb, setting up contacts...the whole bit ya' know?

So I stopped mid-sentence to run and snap some pics of what else I got goin' on under the lights...clone taking root from unknown strain bagseed female...took about 5 days to pop out roots...the AG is the shit for cloning...

I also dropped a few seeds into 4" square pots on the 21st...can't wait for the big bud!

And my hydro set up is on the way via UPS...I should be getting it either tomorrow or Friday...doing a topfed hydro single unit...pretty excited about this, been reading up a lot on hydroponics, plus I have the basics under my belt with the AeroGarden...

DaC...post some pics of your grow in here...share your 12/12 pics! Let's get this rollin'...

Ya its understandable, we all get busy, Just dont get to busy for your babies!

I have also been reading ALOT on DWC. I think thats what Im doing next grow. So much easier than soil!

Water,Nutes,Air stone, Pump and bucket! And your done! lol!

Kk Ill show off a couple of my babies. I just took some pics today, I also Lined the inside with some mylar : )

I also have about 120$ that Im about to get, That will able me to buy the HPS Thingy from HTGsupply. Im going to go with the 400w HPS : )

Anyway, Here are my babies today(day#19)
