Hey JB,

+ rep on this thread. I enjoyed reading it and def helped me start mine up.

I have a question for you though. I'm really trying to minimize the space my grow operations use around the house. Pretty much just to keep it as on the DL as possible. Right now I only have one closet dedicated to growing, but I started from bagseed and once I get to flowering, and hopefully get one female (out of seven plants currently growing), I hope to get a clone box like yours going with some clones from the female(s) in order to hopefully not have to go back to start from seed again.

So here is my idea to make this happen, let me know if you think it will work and be successful for what I want.

So, like I said, take clones from the female, do it like you and put them on 24/7 for a week or so, then take them down to 18/6 for a week or so. Maybe keep them in a clone box for a total of a month? Or less if they grow out of it, and put them straight into my grow room on 12/12. Essentially, only have a clone box and keeping the grow room on 12/12 all the time so I can always be flowering. Even if this produces less bud, I can just keep a handful of plants flowering at any given time and harvest every so often, throwing new clones in the mix every so often also.

This may be pretty similar to yours, I'm just trying to figure out what I will be looking at. I really doubt I need more than an ounce every 6-8 weeks for my personal use, so I guess the end question is, will a set up like this work to get those results?

You can check my grow journal to see my room.

Thanks for your help man

Hey lights...everything that you asked sounds spot on...the only difference with my set up is that i keep a mother plant in constant veg so that I can keep taking clones from her every two weeks or so...I keep her small with a combo of topping and supercropping...I'll stop by your thread soon!

Yeah. I think my next step(s) will be to adjust my grow room to make it all-purpose.

First off, I need to add a simple duct fan & carbon filter combo up near the top, there's actually a good place for it near the top of my room. I will also put a passive intake near the bottom, just need to make it light-proof somehow (suggestions?)

Next, I will buy or build something to raise my flowering plants up about 3-4 ft off the ground, still giving them about 3-4 ft. to grow without being in the light all the way. Which should be plenty for my purpose of just using young clones right into flowering.

Then, underneath that platform I will have a clone box and a small mother like yours. I can maybe also change out the mother every so often too. What do you think about using an aerogarden to house my mother? Seems like a simple and way to keep her happy and alive. I'd get one of the bigger/nicer ones that extend up to two feet.

Let me hear what you think.
Here's a picture of my closet, it's actually 8 ft high though.

Thanks

any one know if 140 watts hps light is enough to get 3 plants through flowering stage??? i dont need it to be super dank........jus smokable
Hey kriss...there's a 150 watt Hps growers club on here on RIU...check them out...I only grow with a 150 watt Hps during veg for 2 plants (larger plants)...but if you train your plants well, you should be able to keep them small and compact throughout flowering stage...

Keep up the hard work...:bigjoint:

hey whats up fellaz? I'll get some pics up as soon as I have a day off :( I've been working 7 days a week latley. And when I get home, the lights are off, so that's no fun.

The buds are getting really nice, but I'm trying to identify a problem I'm having...leaf tips are curling under...heat stress/pH problems...so, I've been battling these issues and see them perking up. They are still wicked healthy tho which is nice!

Bought a QP the other day to hold me over till harvest. Looks like I'll be harvesting around Christmas time with you guys DaC and DLC...

My closet is completly filled with ganja...colas are abundant! Pics to come soon...keep the faith!

Don't know how long I've been 12/12...lost count weeks ago...having trouble with heat stress, but figuring it out...watering the ladies tomorrow...

Big Bud in the back ground and all my Bliss ladies in front. Haven't seen any crystals forming yet, but soon enough...

Ladies are sleeping, so I tried to take some stealth shots...forgive the quality...

You're growing in soil right? Flush with a higher pH water to bring the soil pH back up to a better range

they're looking great JB :) wonderful job so far, and yeah... id throw my guess of the leaf curling to the PH aswell :/ a good flush would probably fix it :-P and the buds are forming sooo nice :) keep up the good work man :) hope you get the PH problem fixed!

YO JB! What up? Glad to see you here! Always nice to see a friendly face!

So... I concur with the pH problem. But! Also I took down the Mylar. I had the space blanket thing like you have and i didint notice until i took it down but
That mylar made it super hot in there. My plants are doing great without it!
And I had burn spots on my last grow. Im guessing because its such a low Quality of mylar?
Maybe take the mylar down for a couple days and see if that fixes the heat : )

Ladies are looking great! That BB in the back has some great fan leaves! They are huge!

Thanks for the pics and beautiful buds you have forming!

Hope to hear from you soon!
