OK, gonna be the last picture before I start to cut. Nothing is changing so no reason to keep ptting up pics of a static situation. Anyway I was really thinking I'd start chopping on them this week but after looking at them really close I think I am still a few days out. A few clear trichs still coming on, a bunch of cloudy, and a few are turning amber, probably less than 5% amber so I'm thinking another 5-7 days.

Anyway they stayed green and healthy to the end, no bugs or nute problems, in spite of the Miracle Grow products, soil and fertilizers.

Miracle Grow... is it the death sentence of all marijuana plants? Or the easy internet explanation of why new growers kill plants, you decide.

Enjoy the pics, the plants are ending up far exceeding my expectations for my first total indoor grow.May15 001.jpgMay15 002.jpgMay15 003.jpgMay15 004.jpgMay15 005.jpgMay15 007.jpgMay15 008.jpgMay15 009.jpgMay15 011.jpg

OK after a couple PM's with people asking questions here's my thinking:

I can only grow and support a certain amount of foliage. Do I want to grow it 5' tall on bare stems down below, or keep it at 2' with the same amount of foliage and bud production?

I'm an 18" tall or less ALL COLA guy from the last grow to this point & forward boss.
Indoor, the advantage is with a squat plant! Growing like so allows for more surface area for the light! If we can keep the plants shorter, we can pound them with light all over rather than just on the top couple feet. Just my two cents captain :joint:

I guess it AGAIN boils down to personal preference man.
I, like Aim, grow in MG, and until now was even using MG nutes, but this grow I'm trying HR's Veg & Bloom, but have no complaints about MG soil and Perlite.

Goofy? Is there something I'm trying to prove? Just growing some smoke my friend.

I wouldn't smoke it either if I were you, it might disprove your preconceived notions, which would be painful for you.

the problem isnt w mg organic its the pre nute green bag shit that u cant add water to without burning your plants ..........it sounds like your trying to prove that shit is ok because u grew in something completely different........fail......... and i wouldnt smoke it cause its full of chemicals mostly leaf and grown in soil sold by an evil corporation

"Sounds" like you're just coming to Aim's thread to troll and bash MG because YOU can't grow in it.
I also grow in MG, use MG perlite, and MG nutes with NO problem.

your first and second plant how nice..............your opinion doesnt mean much
IDK why you keep trying to say that CFL was my 'first' plant, if you actually read the title of that thread, it says first CFL and indoor, not first plant.
I'm not going to clutter up Aim's thread arguing with you any more.

Kind of an interesting back and forth discussion.

I was never wanting to be an advocate of MG. It's just a about all I can get as I live in a very rural area and it's about an hour and a half to a big box store.

And there, at Lowes or Home Depot I still can't buy even Pro-Mix

So I strugle along with MG stuff.

Peace to all my friends. - AIM
