32 new babies hit the dirt.

They are all in the first week of flowering. I am very aggressive with my pruning before flowering, I trim ALL lower branches, and leave about 2-3 nodes up top, this sends all new growth to the top, and I get big thick shoots up top instead of lots of shoots stretching from bellow.

I Lollipop the shit out of them, even into the first week of flowering. Once they start showing bud sites no more major pruning. I hate seeing a big long branch stretching for light with a little nug on the end.

Doing this increases airflow below my canopy a lot! And it makes it easy to get in between plants with my sprayer wand for watering.

I was referring to the cuts as they appeared in their original state... or is that just how clones come out looking when you get 5-6 inch clones?

I'm pretty aggresive with my pruning as well, but I always find I leave just a tad too much on... and when I'm trimming em up all nice I get a bit frustrated with the bottom garbage that is both time consuming and usually doesn't amount to much.

As for increasing air flow with trimming, I feel you for sure! Things just feel so much more wide open when you trim alot off the bottom... with plenty of space to each plant.. they don't crowd one another.

When I take my clones I remove all the lower leafs, they release too much moisture from delicate clones. I just keep the top 2-3 leafs.

I usually do 3 major prunings before flowering. When I plant the clones, I remove the dying leafs, after a couple weeks of vegging under my 1k lights I do the first major pruning and remove any growth that was existing when I planted the clones.

Then the 3rd and most important pruning, IMO, is right before I flower, or a couple days after I start flowering schedule, either way I get the most aggressive, remove a lot of shoots I just dont want, lower growth, and I just leave the top 2-4 nodes, they really look "lollipopped" after this and start filling out the upper canopy then developing the bud sites.

Sometimes I will do a 4th pruning when bud sites start to show. If Im going to remove anything I do it before the buds start filling in, this way I only end up growing the big strong flowers and get some nice juicy buds.

BC~ Yeah, I usually do three trims myself, one during veg, one at the start of flowering... and then believe it or not, I do my last trimming once the plant has slowed down structural growth in the 3rd week of flower. Lots of people say this will give you hermies, but I haven't had a single hermie in two cycles and prior to that I got a few but also had light interuptions during that cycle so it's hard to pin point what was going on.

I'm always afraid of taking too much off, but I think this time I'm gonna get quite aggresive about it. The way I see it, if you take something off that would have developed some bud, that energy likely just gets diverted to the top portion of our plants... the FUN part!

You can also make clones outta the shoots we trim off the bottom, this is what I plan to do... and perhaps a friend or two will want some WW cuts!

Hey what medium do you use? and you have no tray underneath so when you hand water which I believe you would at such a early time in growth. So what happends when they get larger? is there some kinda of tray to keep all that run off in? so you say two 400's right thats 8 together. 30 plants unless if you plan on doing a sog or ascrog ur kindain bad shape. yeah nice cheap lights. but if you plan on vegging those for more then a month ur f*cked. And also the pots are way to small for any root growth unless its a coco grow. but still what happends when they bush out dude, you probably used seeds so you have no idea what sex they are, so even with a 50% chance half are girls you still dont have a enough space for any kid of yield, so tell what you think is your master plan there

The medium is Promix, and its 3 gal pots. How are those too small?

They are already in flower......Im not gonna scrog.....They are already filling out, and I now how to manage plants....Iv actually grown weed before and I know how to prune and tie down.

I dont have to worry about height issues because Im not gonna stretch the shit out of them..

I dont use seeds....I have a veg closet with my mothers, they were confirmed female 8 months ago....they are all female.

Hes got major issues, he was lashing out all night the other day, the next day he said he ate a bunch of bars of xanax and was ready to fight.....The guy has PMed me threatening to hunt me down and kill me....he thinks he knows everything.
