Theres something about fresh clones hitting the dirt that makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

I took about 80 clones a couple weeks ago, Finally got some soil in some pots and selected 32 of the biggest and strongest of the 80 and threw them under a pair of 1k HPS lights in my tent.

Im gonna veg them for a couple weeks then these babies are getting flowered!

All I need now is a better camera, ahhaha.

how did I take them? I had about 8 mothers to choose from, took clippings, used Dutchmaster Cloning gel, and 1inch rockwool cubes, put them in trays with humidity domes till they rooted nicely.

Kind of a personal project, Renae is a BC sativa, and I crossed her with some Amsterdam Blueberry seeds my buddy got on a trip to Amsterdam last year, they werent off the shelf seeds or anything either, they were personal supply of a friend who lives/grows in Amsterdam, so Im pretty stoked on this crop, Iv been growing/cloning the first gen for a few months now, the strain has matured nicely.

This is gonna be the first full grow of the Renae #2 so Im pretty stoked, the babies are already ranking of Blueberrys.

seems like ur going for a slight of SOG style but if u got them under a 1k couldnt u do more than 32??just smaller pots???and yes i kno size of bud will be smaller per plant but the # of plants makes up for it..

I could do more smaller pots, but wont get the same results. 32 plants, I can shoot for 2 ounces per plant quite easily in 3 gal pots.

Also with 3 gal pots, I go 3-4 days between watering. Pot grows in layers from the inside out, every feeding it develops a new layer, longer times between feedings end up with stickier denser buds. IMHO Hydro just cant replicate the dank stickiness you can get in dirt grows.

Small pots mean feeding more, more pruning, more plants to manage, and not guaranteed more product.

16 under each 1k is perfect IMO, 4x4 area per 1k light gives me excellent coverage and penetration, and I got a 5x10 tent so I got room so spread them out. I would rather have the space to increase airflow and allow the buds to get nice and big and juicy.
