Well I have been pondering what to use for a container for 4 plants and finally figured it out. I didn't want to use a rectangle tote because the spacing would be uneven and are taller than I would like. I have a 48X96 tent that it will go in. the tank will be capped off with a 48"x48"x2" piece of blue foam. Veg on one side of tent flower on the other. The tank measure 30x30x12 inside dimensions. I was going to go 45" but decide nutrients would be cheaper with a smaller tank but I think is still plenty big enough, around 27 gallons. I am cutting holes for 4 - 6" net pots. The idea with the foam is to keep it insulated so my chiller does not need to work as hard. I am lining the box with a vinyl shower curtain even though I siliconed the box. I am not sure how permeable that foam is and if it will deteriorate in water over time. The final top will be painted black so no light reflects to the underside of the leaves. I will update this post when the tent is assembled and it is being installed. I plan on running all pumps and chiller in a separate room to cut out noise and heat. I would have gone with RDWC but I am on a second floor and dont want to chance springing a leak. This was all done with stuff laying around the house.
