2811 Club Raided

just because they were raided does not mean it does not work. it looks like this was just the phoenix police and not the dea; the story says feds but i did not see any in the video. out of all of these clubs in phoenix the 2811 club is the most arrogant and in your face about what they are doing, they have probably been at the top of brewer's hit list for a while. once we get a ruling from the courts about the clubs then it will be clear what clubs are legal and which ones are not.

they will all be brought down, and i hope soon. The whole trying to get rich off medical pot is the same shitty business model that big pharm companies use. GEt rich off the sick and injured.....bad karma.

there are SO mnay caregivers out there than NEED patients, that is what needs to happen, a better way to hook patient up with caregivers.... not money model "compassion"
business's. COmpassion and business are rare bedfellows.

Yea that's bad right but it's ok for the 125 people that Will Humble says will be rich to get rich?

This makes zero sense. Anyone should be able to open a club IMO and they should have to pay a $5000 per year licensing fee as the TAX to run it. Period.

Everyone seems to be ok with the Dispensary model and Will Humble being able to choose the 125 best people for Dispensaries rather than people being able to open a Dispensary should they so choose.

For all we know AZCS is a great Dispensary model but those guys wont have a chance in hell at owning a Dispensary because they are convicted felons. So that rules them out. But then some capitalistic guy from Snobsdale might be able to open 3 and he knows nothing about Cannabis at all and it takes him 12 months to get his first decent crop going.

It's all fucked.

Gotcha..... Yep its totally unfair. The model MIGHT be good, but there product sucks and its over priced.
And judging from Cali's problems the dispensary model doesn't seem to be very good either.

Who knows...maybe they should just legalize it already lol.

I dont think they were doing anything wrong it cost to grow weed I think they should get compasated for there hard work period. Fuckin cops can just do anything theres no freedom donations is ok right? I think thats what they were doing you cant just give away weed for free and pay for your soil nutes electric what ever out of pocket, dosent make sense. I think mmj should be sold for a profit just like a pharmacy does thats why there in the business to a certain extent. I just dont agree with this shit when there trying to do shit by the book, still.

If the disp. And clubs would charge just what it cost ie. Employes wages elect. Nutes soil seeds rent. They would still be open but I can garantee that IT DOES NOT COST $400 TO GROW AN OZ. that is why they are getting shut down. I can see 200-300 an o 300 is pushing it. But its medical if you wana deal to someone not medical yeah rape um.

I never liked Allan Sobol. From the get go in the news he came off as this wannabe Jack Herer. Google Allan Sobol's name and see what you find. You'll see something about he was a paralegal masquerading as a lawyer and got in to trouble for it. Then he opens up a mock dispensary in NoPho, trying to garner as much publicity as he could. That wasn't enough for Mr. Sobol. He then proceded to operate a sham of a 'school' charging people $200 or so to have someone tell them shit they could read for free. I know I know, there is nothing illegal about operating those classes in the way he did, it is just immoral.

you think that the cops would have left them alone if they were charging less for their ounces? cmon what are you thinking. they got busted because they were distributing pot for money, not for a certain amount of money either. the cops did not care if they were charging 10 or 1000. its all the same to them. drugs are drugs getting caught with a pound of og kush is the same as getting caught with a pound of mexican dirt weed.

Pretty much right.

My point was they would come out clean if they had the books to prove they were not profitiering.
its the distribution they are going after. they dont give a shit about whether or not they were non profit because that is still against the law unless they are a licensed dispensary. personally i think they got busted so the cops could steal their assets and that Sobol guy was pretty much thumbing his nose at the cops in his local news interview saying he was legal and would never get busted. the cops took it personally and shook him down. i will go so far as to say this suit will not go very far in court, but that does not really matter the intimidation and seizure of assets was the main point. this was an easy way to send a message and make a little money.

The DEA does the same thing. You just dont want to step on their toes. Look what they did to that grow shop in Oakland where the dude advertised " Most popular dispensary in Cali" The FEDS saw that and said " is that right dum dum " game over for him.

Yeah I'm not surprised this guy got raided at all. He's profiting way too much off this 'donation bullshit.' We all know it doesn't take $200 - $300 to grow an O (as mentioned by another user here)

I personally am a Medical Marijuana patient here in Phoenix, Arizona and I feel like he's making way to much $$. I called in one time to ask about the 'donation fee's' & they told me it is $100 dollars the first time I come in and $75 on each subsequent visit.

This is just ridiculous. With how bad the economy is and people not making as much $$ as they were, how are we 'the patients' supposed to afford our medicine?

I hope something good comes from this maybe the legalization of dispensaries in Arizona or more caregivers popping up. Until then many of us will have to turn to 'the black market' as mentioned by 2811 on their website, to obtain our medicine. Very sad but at least we are not being charged $75 each visit lmfao.
