If you have them.put the lady bugs. If you dont have them just spray throughout veg with neem oil as a preventative measure, if possible

I have been catching praying mantis and putting them in the garden. . Have only seen like 1 ladybug all year. I might see if I can get some ladybugs around here. I cant wait to smoke these bugs.

I culled 4 males this week as everything inthe ground started to preflower. Everything else is either showing pistils or not showing at all. So lets hope that was all the males. And lets hope the plants I replaced them with are all females lol. The little untopped plant is a strawberry blue fem seed. The other 3 are: 1 hawaiian skunk haze and 2 bahia blackhead. The other 2 in this greenhouse are Seahash.

Friday i am gonna tear up the squash and cantaloupe because they are just aphid magnets and crowding the garden. I have a couple pepper plants ready to be transplanted. I might throw another haze and another early finisher down in the mix too since there will be extra free space.
20140716_173624.jpg 20140716_171524.jpgI am trying some lst this year. I like it. Keeps the plants low profile. I was gonna mainline a couple plants but I dont have the veg time for it maybe next year.

Do you spray your veggies with the same shit you use on the herb?

Yeah. I even spray the flowering shrub right next to the flower bed with neem and spinosad now. I noticed moths and grasshoppers lingering in there. I am now misting everything in the area (even my greenhouse walls) 3-4 times a day to keep the humidity up and knock off any bugs/eggs. Tryna slow the spidermites down. I have been getting crazy bugs this year. I didnt even know wtf a leafminer was until now lol. Its the drought I think. I also think it is because I havent been doing my regular routine. I had stopped foliar feeding for a bit, but im back on it now again with fish emulsion and protekt everyday and seaweed extract once a week. I have learned my lesson about slacking off haha.
