2 weeks flowering NO trichomes

You can get a 150w HPS econo-light for $20(30 after shipping). You might have to find a bigger box though.

As for HID and heat issues, they are not nearly as hot as everyone makes them out to be. My plants can get as close as 3 inches from my 150w before they show signs of heat stress/burns. Only the 400+ wattage HIDs cause heat issues.

don't worry.. it depends on the strain, the environment it's being grown in and the nutrients.. just let them do their thing

yeah i have a veg room and two flowering rooms (well 3 if u count the cfl project) veg room is flos. but my buddy who wants to grow is dirt poor so he wanted to see what u could do with 100$ so i built/bought the stuff and when i harvest these ill just give him the grow setup for what i paid.

I still find it hard to beleive to can get good herb outta cfls... I go 1000w hps myself but Hey if I was growin in a closet I would go CFL, why not. Get some pics up man I wanna see...

dude relax somtimes you wont see anything till week4, after that then you should start to panic.

now i am realy worried, its been atleast a month now after i first posted. i have a good few budding tops and still no sign of trics. nothing has changed a bit, plant recieves 12/12, it feeds on 1lt of water and a teaspoon of molasses. i have placed a wire grid too keep buds all at same hight for a sea o green look.

what could be the main reasons for tric's not showing. plant has a realy healthy citrus smell when brushed has alotta pistols but no tric's what so ever. plant is 100% female. recieves no light during its 12hr dark, and has had no changes too its growing at all

yes i was feeding babybio, then stopped and started feeding plant with bonemeal ( k rating of 17%) and 2 drops of babybio so there is hardly any N being given.

tbh its getting a joke now plants been flowering for well over a month and nearly two. i should atleast see some tric's forming. im in two minds deciding if i should just cull plant and give up as a loss.

everyone says get a sodium light i wish they would read post correct, my flowering room is 15/15/19 inch so just under 1.5 square foot. doubt a plant could live in that box with a hps/hid light pumping heat all the time. and i have too vent into room with box in, so soon as room temp gets high box will get higher temps as its recycling already vented air.

im giving it till xmass day if i dont see tric's im culling plant and giving up on growing fullstop.

A product that i used this summer on a plant that was doing the same slow flower process is "the Shitz" a strong bat guano mix by "camelgrowjoe" all i did was use it as a top dressing and kept feeding with my 1-0-2 but added the 11% phosphate mixture
and WOW she took off and filled the leaves with layers and layers of the magic dust i could tap the branch after one week of using it and see the rainshower of trichomes fall onto lower leaves and the smell was of it was so vapory and clear straight to yer head ......just a thought it werked wonders for me that way
also i keep my humidity between 68-78 %
tempurature sits at 73 F day & night
i let the soil dryout between feedings this forces resin's up the stalk a bit quicker
and if your using C02 supplementation STOP as soon as you start 12/12 its great for veggin but horrible to your flowers .....

things went wrong and plant had too be harvested atleast 2-3 weeks early. no signs of tric's at all. lots and lots of hairs and around 85% red. plant when cut had a very strong lemon smell.

buds if you can call them buds lol, well what a letdown these are less than popcorn and more like rice grains. i let plant dry in cupboard for 7 days and then placed in jar too keep.

the weed when dried is sticky but not much smell. i smoked some an hour'ish ago in a blunt( my first smoke in 2 weeks only thing about on streets is formula bar (soapbar), no hit or anything, smokes ok but tastes like ( censored). so my 4 months of stress, feeding, etc, etc worked out kinda worthless for me.

what does one do with a finnished product so useless for personal use, can it be composted back into soil and the nuetriants re-used ?

i wish, i lost my job have no income and struggling too keep afloat now, england is taking this real bad, and to be honnest does not look like it will get any better soon. as for pictures im too ashamed too post pics, i got hardly nothing in means of smokable stuff.

im from UK, cant use soduim because of heat and noise from having fans running. im gonna wait till may and throw all the bag seeds i collected around the local area and let them do what they like, then go visit 4-5 months later and see what happened. otherwise im giving up till i can afford too grow.

some strains never SHOW the trichs like indicas do. 20 + years ago I remember it being AMAZING to get the kind of trichs that are now a common feature of almost all commercial strains.

Mel Frank used to always say it was possible to have a wicked potent strain that displayed virtually no resin. I really believe it myself, but breeders want it to LOOK potent too. Actually I just got some mexi a few months ago that looked like it had no resin, but in the vape it gave more than a good LOOKING indica a friend had. I've grown dank LOOKING weed in the past that was much less potent than weed that LOOKED weak.

the proof is in the smoking.

i grow alot of sativas trich production for me explodes 4-6 weeks into flower so chill

good luck on your grow..i had trichomes 3rd week into ved...im on my second week of flower and the whole stock branches and leavs have tric develpment and is now starting to really put on...its all about the feed you giving it man...plants need over 21 different nuts to promote healthy growth and bonemean and molassis are good to suplement a feed schedual with but neither of those are sufficient at all...its the same as if a weight lifter eats only 1 ramen a day lol he isnt gunna grow. i have grown clones in dirt coco coir and hydro next to eachother all with their own 600 watt light and hydro beats em all everytime....not saying dirt cant produce the sticky but go to your grow store buy buy a bubble buckets a phtesting kit some airstones black tubing and a air pump and the general hydroponics bag system and follow directions on the back..... you wont have to worry about over or under watering and the plants get all the nuts it needs...also plants in dirt use alot of its energy just growing a root system so if your feeding it bonemeal and molasis its not gunna produce that white with trichomes bud...and your gunna have to pick up a proper light... i put 2 plants max under a 600watt and pull well over a qp per plant average depending on strain and veg time...gota get that equipment
