I found the links that you and budolskie posted - Man ! they are EXPENSIVE for what they are....!
A few feet of bent wire.
I think I can probably knock out my own Plant Supports without paying that kind of money.
Do it, I'm a big believer in improvisation when necessary.

Here's the tray from the 1 critical mainline plant. I tried to keep her in her 8 branches but had to chop a couple up a little more.

Hey budolskie, thanks bro. I can't wait to weigh in now. OG KUSH I honestly thought while she was in the room that I would be lucky to achieve 2oz on her but looking last night once cut down and I can see between 3-4oz on her hopefully.

So I think I'm now looking at about
Critical ML - 4-5oz
Critical clone1 - 20g
Critical clone2 - 20g
Pineapple clone - 20g
OG clone 14g
Pineapple ML - 4oz
OG ML - 3-4oz

Total of lowest numbers around 400g.

You should be pulling good numbers anyway.

Your plants didn't look 2ft tall.

With a 600w you can grow 3ft tall plants and only clean off a small amount at the bottom. Little bit of leaf pruning to allow light to penetrate your canopy and you should easy do 4oz a plant with 4-6 plants.

I'm of the opinion that you should try to maximise your areas potential before changing things massively.

I'm still trying to break 500g from my room. When I do I'll be happy but as I only really grow for me I don't need to keep getting bigger.

AMAZING!

Pictures 1 and 2 look like Brussel Sproats - the buds are like sproats
Picture 4 could be a kid's cartoon BUD .

Those curing pictures....
Your house must stink like Amsterdam !!!

Those photo's are remarkable.
They really do provide me with a goal to aim for - growing plants like THAT!

I started doing this for extra cash (like my cousin) but already its gone past that.

I want to grow buds that look like that.

It's knowing what type of wire I can use...?
On ebay someones selling BONSAI WIRE
10 metres of 2.5mm for £8.47
or
10 metres of 1.5mm for £40.78

It makes no sense that the thicker stuff should cost 20% of the thicker stuff...?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/111038108148?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649

I'll message the seller and ask why.

Im assuming its safe for plants - beng called BONSAI WIRE - but that could just be a name....

What kind of wire could I use for bending little hooks to hold branches in place o young plants?
They only need to be 6 to 14inch long.

Oh my god NoE.

Do you ever leave the house?? Lol

Go down to your local garden centre and get some garden wire. Lol.

Most of my apparel comes from garden centres.

IME there's less bullshit at the garden centre anyway.

Gotta say boys. Im impressed. Im on my first grow right now, 5 plants, 3 mainlined and 2 FIM'd and will be supercropped. Im just experimenting with dif styles although from my research, maining is the best way to go. My journal is my sig, any advice or anything would be cool.

Love it, cant wait till i get to reap what i have sown.

I find most garden centres to have a lack of choice and premium prices.
I used to visit 'proper gardeners nurseries' (as my Uncle used to call them, to distinguish them from 'posh' garden centres).
He was right.
The bog standard plant nurseries may have lacked EVERYTHING except plants but their selections were better, their plants were healthier and their prices were about 40% of comparable garden centre stock.

I often look around charity shops.
When I started to grow and I needed 'black out' curtains for the rooms I was using, I found TWO PAIRS in OXFAM for £1.75 each!
One room looks like The Summer of Love and the other is very MIAMI VICE but they do the job wonderfully.
A few days ago I bought a camera tripod for £1 - Great as a stand for fans of side lights.

I also got a copy of PERESTROIKA by Michail Gorbachev for 15p
I've gift wrapped it for my cousins Xmas pressy - Metaphorical gifts have him scratching his head for MONTHS...LOL

Hey everyone.

So after 9 days drying time the critical+ was ready for jars last night.

Here is a snap of the critical+ clones weight.
image.jpg

I TARE my scales with the 180g dish on top.

image.jpg

Here is the combined total with the ML critical+ on the scales too.
image.jpg
image.jpg
image.jpg

image.jpg

So the critical mainline netted me around 120g. When I grew this strain before it netted me 112g from a very similar sized plant however the mainlining concentrates all the plants efforts into the top growth. I had no small junk on the plant. All really decent sized nuggets.

So although the mainlining hasn't really upped my yield amount it has increased the size of the buds that were left on the plant.

Oh yeah and the added benefit in that it took less that 1hour to trim a 2.5ft tall plant. Lol. Normally around 2hours.

Hope you enjoy.

Next weigh in will be around New Years of the OG and the pineapple.
