I was sitting around thinking today that, I add a small amount of gatorade and v8 juice to my plants (not pot), and they all grow faster and have bigger out put of fruit. So Maybe if I do that to my second batch of plants I am about to start growing, could it work?

What're your thoughts, I'd like some input before I destroy plants trying experiments.

Electrolytes, It's what plants crave.
I would say V8 is a good idea because fully produced plants contain everything plants need to fully produce.

If anyone who reads this is from Colorado or Texas hit me up through Pm or here or something. Also, check out my blog:http://finshaggy.blogspot.com

Gatorade helps the plant stay straight up, its basically viagra for plants. it causes tugor pressure when mixed with water and given to plants. which leads to nice strong tall plants. V8 as Finshaggy said has fully produced plants in it. It's basically compost but in liquid form with added minerals and vitamins.

exactly whats about to happen, i have my first grow underway, and since i have about 40 seeds that are unknown strains im going to take about 15 and use them for experiments while growing

I still wana see you do it but think that V8 is not composted, rather the raw juice from eight vegetables chilled and packaged after being freshly squeezed. At a guess this would just clog up the soil and roots, very little would dissolve to plant obtainable nutrients and probably not fully compost for another few months making it quite useless.

As for the Gatorade if it contains sugar, preservatives, additives and sweetners then this is all non plant material the roots will mostly not like, i have not read the back of a gatorade carton to see its ingredients though, i understand why you would think electrolytes may be good for the plant but feel that in this situatuon totally unabsorbable and adverselly affect the osmotic properties of the spoil plant relationship.

All that being said, hell yer rock them seedlings with that funky feed and post pics, at the least its gona be fun, worse that happens is they die. Peace

Yeah and since i have an endless supply of seeds might as well do some shit to see if it improves the plants.

as for the sugar and preservatives, they dont effect other plants ive grown, but then again this is pot, not tomatoes or peppers

What about the wonders of fulvic acid, this is good for the soil and plant growth should increase, then theres mycorrhzial funghi and benificials, will greatly increase plant growth and on top of that different growth hormones.

Some other things to try after the V8 and gatorade. Peace

Im using molasses on my current grow. Like i said, just to experiment. but i only have one grow room, so ill be introducing these plants to it in time. maybe ill get some dusty dirty like in idiocracy, but why not have some fun.
