I wish I could get a HPS but money is tight, if I started saving up for one I would have to save for about 2-3 months but as soon as I can I'll be getting one. Until then CFL is the only way I can go.

Thanks for the links Cheetah2007 I'll be reading them by the time you read this. Then I'll probably roll one up with my bro and sleep.

Alright one more question I have a fan pulling in cold air and a fan blowing straight up inside the box towards the heat vent. Would adding another fan in the back thats pulling out hot air also help or would it be a waste, my temps still get higher than I would like from time to time.

What would you consider an ideal temp? I get 78-84 usually but got up to 90 today.

Okay added another exhaust fan to get a little more air moving in there. The plants are growing nicely. Going to go get more ligts today to help with the side lighting.

Added an ice pack (the kind you use to go camping) for humidity. Its good for about 12hrs even under my lights. I got 3 so 2 are always freezing and I go fishing a lot so I can use it for other things. Humidity already went up and it dropped the temp a little bit also. I'll just change them when I do my daily check before and after work.

Another update just added some more light 5 to be exact. They are 42watt cfl cool bulbs. I want to get some warms in there but I can't find them anywhere I haven't been to home depot yet went to every other hardware store but hd is a little out of my way but I guess its a drive I'll have to make. so now I have 11 42watt cools on my 4 plants. hoping to get about 4 or more warms in there.

Can anyone tell me if COMPLETE TOTAL darkness is a must during vegging? My vegging box has light leaks at the hinges and I need to know if I need complete darkness during the night? My flowering box is completely dark and doesn't let in any light. Just asking a question here any help appreciated.

I will post pics tomorrow I have some new ones that I took. They look like they are growing pretty slow to me but I'll get everyone else's opinions tomorrow.

sweet journal looks liike you are getting some good help, i am hoping to buy this HPS its only 95$ and its a 400 watter, this would greatly increase your yield, but the heat might be an issue

So we are pretty close to each other in terms of days since sprout and mine seem like they have been growing pretty slow too. Glad to hear this since I thought they could be stunted from fungus gnats. Great grow so far, definitely subscribed. Can't wait to see pictures

Sorry for the lateness someone stole my charged up camera batteries and I was waiting for the others to charge but ended up taking pics with my phone instead so the quality isn't that good. For reference the plants are between 4 and 6 inches.
