I noticed yesterday 1 or two little black fly gnats flying round my grow room. I killed them and continued to check the top soil. a found 2 more. after evaluating the room today I saw 1 in the soil.
Really need some recommendations as to pest control, Nursery or homedepot products. I read that gnats can lay larvae that can kill my girls! Really being cautious here tho, female WW and they're only 2 weeks old. (GROWING STRONG THOUGH!)
Heard of the jar of vinegar thing, but what if the bastards already layed eggs?!
Ppl have also recommended removing the top 3 inches of soil and replacing with peat moss or sand. (Wont sand cause fleas?)
Any advice is really golden @ this point. I'm not going to wait till my room is swarming before I get control of this problem. Really need some efective tx to take care of this ASAP!
