So i've been wasting time on grasscity and just came back here. I have a new room its dimensions as stated above. I have 3 (actually 4) 1000k lights. I only plan to use about 12 ft for my flowering area for . But my problem is my 5 foot width. I was thinking of installing a scrog at roughly a 45degree angle with stadium-style angle to it so that I can pass to the rear of my room where my 4x5 veg/clone room is already located? I of course want to maximize my yield and quality while using 100% percent of my availible lighting Any suggestions?

Also materials already on hand: 3x1000 watt magnetic hps with XXL 6in. reflectors(hortiluxs). 1 EuroGrower( a 30"x4' drip/dwc system with 44gal resevoir) 4 30-gal DWC/totes with 4 6 inch net pots each(easily rigged for scrog). 1 55gal barrel for distilling my water and quickly filling resevoirs. Loads of hydro nutes, the entire General/Advanced Hydroponics and Humboldt lines . 1 Hannah Champ Ph Tester. 1 Bluelabs PPM/EC stick. Buttloads of hydroton and 20 lb block of coco coir. Multiple timers, surge protectors, and extension cords. 1 1500rpm squirrel cage fan not sure of CFM and 25 foot of the good stiff ducting no odor control as of yet. 1 unopened 50'x10ft roll of panda plastic and another used roll or mylar seeming to be about the same size as the panda plastic. And one window ac unit. All current materials purchased in a single transaction with a grand total of about $230 including gas. Craigslist. I think thus far I've done pretty well for a grow budget lol.

PLEASE HELP ME!

what is wrong u have some killer luck man the 16x5 .........to max that area out u only need 3 1000w (1000w hps is 5x5 ) so only 3 is needed

12 foot flowering u can do it with 2 1000w the overlap of a 6x6 foot print will make it like a 5x5
the 4/5 foot veggie 1000w will be fine (your issue is photo plants the light needs a 12/12 for flower and 18/6 for veggie ) light leaks are not allowed .....i would build a floating wall to section off your grow area or think about using a tent

u got your old magnetic ballast type off Craigs list ...........take the ballast to a shop that works on them and have it inspected/rebuilt so u can work with out worry (ballast have a set number of run hours after that it is gift if they still work ) ........i am telling u to do this to save u...... u start them up get half grow in and they go off

as for bulbs u need to know how many hours it was used .......after about 10k/12k hours the bulbs start losing power (some places take the bulbs out and then sell them to ppl replace their system with a fresh bulb) ............see after so much power is passed tho the wire and the gas start to get used up so the power it gives off and the light color it gives is off ............newer ballast counter this with a boost option (solis tek matrix or galaxy grow)

Ok Now ive changed my mind. Ive panda filmed out my room and divided my veg off and i want to . So i have come across an 8 inch Can 621 CFM Fan for $30 took, I to the hydro store, they fixed it for $25; so I've invested $55 into my fan. My CFM required is 356 for the room. Can anyone direct to the information on how to build a carbon filter to attach the fan that will efficiently scrub this space? also how well to sativas sog if only vegged for 2 weeks?

building your own for a small area is no big thing

but u are talking in closest terms a 400cfm filter 8 inches and really the filter should be matched to the fan speed so 621 cfm
at this point it is just simpler to buy one that is made and use it verus build it the metal working and time alone is more for u then them

Use all 4 lights and only do 4x4 per each one. Gives you 1 foot walkway on the outside to do what you need. mount wall fans on walkway side aswell. Shouldnt be much problems your lucky here.
