It may not be idea (the bulb you have) for growing but should be still acceptable. Especially getting a couple of 750's, then you will have some choice.
yeah that is more than likely too. i should just wait it out and get the 750's? cause this thing does get hot, id say after we ran it for 30 mins it was atleast 120 degrees, it was very warm shall i say. you could hold ur hand on it but it wasnt very cool, what if i just threw that puppy into a cool tube untill i can afford the two 750s and another tube?????

Exactly. Even if it were some spectrum considered 'less than ideal'(like 4100K, for example) it'll still work great. That thing will be pushing sooo many lumens(placement being considered, of course) that the spectrum won't really be an issue, because there HAS to be sufficient amounts of the correct spectrums, hidden in there somewhere.lol The sheer power of the thing, will make up for any deficeits in spectrum.

Vertical tube, vertical grow? That would be one way to grow with a single 1500 and short space. 10x10 space. Grow into the corners and tend from the inside out. Just a small path to the center of the grow and could still be a closed square space.

206,000 LUMENS! to be exact.

Someone should built a vertical tier system like heath robinson's flooded tube, except upgraded to aero.
The only thing is the vertical system would just have one or two extra tiers,
and be easy to modify once more in case the 1500w isn't as efficient as a single 600w,

so the person would just take off the top two tiers,
and then add a smaller tier at the bottom just so it wasn't a whole waste of time....\

seriously i think u could have taller plants in a vertical system,
this could penetrate very well,

i just want to see this in action god dammmmmmn.

cause i dont wanna do it to find out lol.... ahh damn i guess ill have to...
maybe i can coherse a friend to do it.

I guess nobody cares vertical grows are super efficient and u can set one up if u build it for relatively cheap....
