I just put my new clone in a 12 gallon pot, and I was just wondering if you can put your plants in too big of pots, I don't think so because outside, they have as much room to grow as they want. I just want to double check, so can someone help me out?

It shouldn't, though people tend to start in a smaller pot and transplant because it's easier to make sure your watering properly when the plant is small. It's easy to end up either over or under watering when you have all that extra dirt that the roots may or may not have gotten to yet. Personally, I would grow them in a 5 gallon pot until they were between 16-20 inches before transplanting them into a pot that size, but thats just me. :)

Seriously don't. You'll regret it. Your watering will be messed up and you'll be wasting a LOT of soil. A 6 gallon put is more than enough
