Thanks for posting man! Glad you are here for the grand finale!

I just harvested the tops only and the wet weight was 47.1 grams wet!!! better than I thought. Anyone have any guesses about how much it'll weigh dry?! Pictures will be up soon!! I'm working hard trimming up and everything...and the sugar leaves weighed 19 grams!

Oh and also I didnt water her for 4 days before I harvested...if that will effect any guesses on the dry weight...

But let me know what you guys think. I'm reallly excited about how good the buds look! I know they might be skimpy to some people but they're dense nugs, and this is my first grow! My setup only costed me like $40-$50 dollars max, so a half oz would be great to me. I can't wait to spark up a fat joint in celebration of the harvest!

And also thanks to everyone who helped me out along the way! You guys are awesome!

hey man, congrats on your harvest, very nice looking buds! +REP. how many total watts were you using for flowering? just 110? i forget

either way, 47g wet is pretty sweet... if that's 4 days after the last watering, i'd guess dry weight will end up around the 25-35g range, depending on how heavy those stems are lol.

got any pics of the rest of the plant?

Thanks man! Yeah 110 watts. I think i might grow one more time with CFLs then move on to a 150 HPS...that seems like the best thing for me...small 1-2 plant grow, and a 150 would give me what I need.

Yeah I wasnt sure if it'd still be the 70% loss of weight or whatever everyone says...but damn I'd be more than happy with 25 gs...I'm predicticing when all dried and everything probably a little over a half oz. And there are some pretty fat stems in there still.

Actually yes...here ya go lol. It's nothing special, just tiny popcorn buds. But they are pretty frosty looking.

Oh and any ideas on how much longer to let the other half of the plant go? I don't wanna over do it or anything.

I wouldn't wait to long... lol speaking that you're heading out of town... hell , I think i'd go ahead and get them.. might not be the best of idea's , but look at your option's. Gl

Yeah but you dont think they'd be ok for five days alone, if I flushed the day I leave?

not an expert, but my hunch is to go for extra five days. the plant looks pretty green and healthy still, so it might plump up those buds a bit more. after five days, she'll be pretty dry and kind of jump start the drying process. which could be good or bad, but if i were you, i'd rather be there to check on the drying buds than leave them to dry for 5 days and risk over drying...

if you're worried about overdrying the plant while she's still alive, one idea i got from a hydroponics store guy is to leave the pot inside a slightly larger container (like a bowl or a bigger pot) that you can fill up part of the way before you leave. the plant will absorb water through the bottom holes of your pot so the water will last a day or two longer.
