I would definitely put the screen at 1' maybe even a couple inches higher. That extra room helps a lot when you're moving everything around. Most of the stuff you can adjust from above the screen, but sometimes for me at least I have to pull those branches from the bottom. Many times I've had to pull a branch from the bottom while guiding it with my other hand from above the screen to prevent damage. When you're adjusting these branches all the time they'll get torn up pretty quick if you're not doing it gently. You also need room to get at all the leaves and wasteful buds growing below the screen.

Thanks for the tip. Wasn't really sure whether I should put it a lil below their height since not all the bud sites were the same height, some taller than others and just didn't know if those sites would die off due to not getting adequate light, on your screen do you pretty much have a site at every single hole of your screen? I was looking at your pictures and it just seems soooo overly crowded, wasn't sure if you should really have them all that close cause of mold problems.

When the taller sites grow about 3" above the screen you pull them back under the screen and put them in a hole a little further away each time. When you do that the plant will send auxins to those lower bud sites and make them reach for the light. It sounds like you might have a little different strategy with your scrog than mine. Are you letting the plants grow straight through the screen without pulling back under...pretty much using the screen as a guide and support? I'm training the buds until they completely stop stretching and what I should end up with is basically a mat of bud about 7"-8" thick. The ventilation in my room is pretty kickass, it's always cooler inside the room than out since it sucks in cool air down by the ground and the exchange rate is so fast. As long a I keep up with trimming excess leaves and have fans running 24/7 I should be good...plus the humidity is pretty low 35-45. My screen has 2" holes and no there's not one in every hole but it's pretty close.

No I'm trying to do a basic scrog not using a screen as just a support, want to train them. Just wasn't sure if I shoulda tried training them a few inches shorter than they are or just put the screen a lil over a foot which is basically their height anyways at the moment. But thanks alot man for the help, really appreciate it.

Day 66 - MK SC / Day 41 - WR SW WW VFT

Alot of the under growth is starting to yellow. Not much light penetrating through the thick canopy, hoping that MH bulb I just ordered gets here Wednesday. Been pretty much feeding them every other day with 20ml per 4L of AN Iguana Juice. I LST and super cropped a few of them just bout an hour ago. The one I LST looks pretty crazy. All of them are about a foot and a half tall now, getting bushy, big ass fan leafs, stems are all about a sharpie size thick. Rooms been maintaining about 85F, my RH has been pretty low at 30%, I've been misting them with just Ph'ed water of 7.0, goes up to about 40% RH, don't thinks its too big of an issue though.

The clones still haven't rooted, I put a heat pad underneath so hope to see them pull through in a day or two.

Day 67 - MK SC / Day 42 - WR SN WW VFT

Alrite, just a lil update. I super cropped pretty much all of the ones that were 1 1/2 foot tall. Getting them all ready for the screen to be layed down on Thursday or Friday. 90% sure get my new MH bulb tomorrow. Its 85F 35% RH, just gave them plain water today. One of the plants I super cropped snapped on the outside of the stem just a lil too much for my liking, hope it picks itself back up. No pictures for today, can't wait for the fun part to come round, god, patience sucks haha

Day 68 - MK SC / Day 43 - WW WR SN VFT

A few of the stems I super cropped kinda split, can see a hole through them turning a lil brown around it, doesn't seem to do be affecting them though. I've been needing to water them so much more lately, I always water them to a 10% run out and they just get dry the very next day so I've been feeding one day then giving just regular water the next.

Got my new bulb in today!!!!!! :) pretty geeked. Really hoping to have the room 100% finished tomorro.; in-line, blower, one light moved a foot further away from the other, want each light to be able to cover a 4'x5' with a 1' gap in between each so I'm able to work on each plot.

All my clones died, the floor was too cold, didn't have a heating pad under em finally just found one so I made 3 of each of these; MK SC WW VFT, I cut the leafs in and dipped the stems in Clonex Gel and just gave them plain water. So I'm expecting these to pull through.

To bad about your clones that died... at least it was a learning experience. Wish you the best on the new clones.

Oh and honestly I have no patience for anything!

Day 70 - MK SC / Day 45 - WW WR SN VFT

Having a lil bit of heating issues, I finally got the in-line all hooked up, well the air outside is so cold, defently can't have it running too long, so I got it setup for 5 mins on every hour throughout the day, I haven't really had time to record the temperature throughout the day to see how its working out. Its been about 87-90F in there, got a regular standstill fan it there pushing some air around blowing towards the lights but just isn't doing the job, my leafs are turning inward praying to the light so need to get this problem solved asap. Don't have the blower ran yet so defently need to get this done tomorrow. Other than that everythings looking good and getting too big for my liking, I'm getting concerned about crowding issues, we'll see how this works out once the screen has been layed, til then I have no clue, need to go get pvc piping to make a frame for the screen and I am FLAT fuckin broke... can't even scrape together ten fuckin dollars, jeeze.... wish it was ready to flip the damn light alrite...

I hear ya Pak. I put all my money into this room....I have to go "donate" plasma tomorrow just to buy some nutes.

Better to be a little overcrowded than undercrowded(not a real word apparently) you can always cut shit out.

yeah, I hear ya. I'm defently a lil over crowded, I'm almost positive I'm gonna have to put a few a side and just veg them longer til after this harvest. no big deal really, actually kinda more of a good thing I suppose, either way I'll have a decent looking carpet in there haha hope so...

Day 72 - MK SC / Day 47 - WW WR SN VFT

WOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! got my mother fuckin screen in today and it was a bitch. Took forever to get everything stretched around and pulled up. VFT is barely touchin the screen and I didn't have most of them topped or FIM so.... everything else is pretty bushy for the most part. Don't expect it taking too too long to fill the screens up. I'm just about out of Iguana Juice. Conserving it, Feed. water. water. feed. thats been their schedule. The rooms been maintaining 78-85F today, last nite there was issues, the blower wasn't on with the in-line running got too hot in the back of the room, made my one WR real crispy..... it'll pick itself back up though. But I'm REALLY geeked I got each screen up. Made 2 4'x4' screens at 1' above the pots, got a lil gap in between each but I haven't figured out a way I can get over the first screen..... thinking like a walkway above the middle. haven't made up my mind yet, any advice anyone?!

Day 76 - MK SC / Day 51 - WW WR SN VFT

Everythings looking good, filling the screen in nice. The back of the room is maintaining 75F and the first screens plot is maintaining 68-70F I'm getting some purple in the center of the bud sites and purple going up the stem so not too sure if this is some nutrient defeciency or if its just due to the cold whether, its only happening in one plant which is a Swiss Cheese. I'm trying to get these HPS bulbs and some nutrients; Bud Factor X, Nirvana, Sensizym. Should be ordering it this week, hope so...

Don't worry about the purple mine are a little on top of stems.
Yea, a few of my plants stems are purple, fan leaf ones are, but this swiss cheese got a real deep purple on the stems and the center of all the bud sites, pretty sure its just due to it bein kinda too cold at the beginning of the screen cause I had the ducting from the inline blowing right above it towards the ceiling, I took the ducting off though and just have it blowing straight back cause I don't have a controller to slow the speed of the fan down but it works alrite this way for now just blowing it against the wall at the beginning of the room then the oscilating fan kinda sucks it up and blows it throughout the room.
