if you can keep the room sealed and you apply the correct amount in that area then yes works fine but not the most efficient method.my buds are so dense anyways I thought I would try but gave up just keep light cooler and drop closer(lumens,lumens lots of lumens)

so i cant quite tell from your pics of the Black Jack, did it actually express a purple pheno? I cant tell if it did or if its just the flash from your cam. I know Nirvana's site shows it as being a purple(ish) plant, but when browsing actual harvests of it, i think i have come across a total of 2 that claim to have gotten the purple to actually show. Either way, lookin great man, hope mine does half as well =)

Yes it does show purple in buds and yes camera does make it look more purple. here is a photo of the bud on the stalk

I always keep my day temps @ 75* +- 2* and 65* +- 2*

Black domino seems to be the purp pheno in this strain.

Very nice, it makes me happy to see another person seeing the Ad quality pheno in this strain (as said before when looking at posted harvests, very few show the purple pheno). Your temps probably help this i would assume, as they are on average 10 degrees higher than i can manage in my house during the summer.

Also its geneology seems to be in question? I have seen it listed as being a Black Domina x Jack Herer cross, and a Black Domina Jock Horror cross on different sites.

yeah genes are to be determined on my quest to know,I do know I can make them real purple if I drop 65- this restricts potas. and phosh.also in past I used purlple maxxx I think but Im for sure it was from humbolt I was given sample to give feedback it include gravity another from humbolt I dont remember the three came out at same time,also Emerald shaman i loved similar to bloombastic

Nirvana says Black Domino x Jock Horror ( Hybrid of Northern Light, Skunk and Haze.)I know some haze turn purple but from other photos and from other journal seems to Domino causing the violet colors.

Swiss cheese had the boldest purple very deep in color the whole Pistil bract area

I have grown Blackjack a couple of times, bought from Sweet Seeds, and it never had a sniff of purple in it. I have also heard that it was a Jack Herrer Black Domina mix, but it certainly never had the bang that you would get from the Jack Herrer of 90's fame. To be honest, it smells more like Power Plant than anything else. It grows well, doesn't need much care, and clones in about 10 seconds, but the smoke is pretty average. Rumour has it in the Dam that a lot of strains coming out of here are just mixes of Power Plant...which is what most coffeeshops sell as White Widow or JAck Herrer (the rip off coffeeshops that is.)

A real hybrid, thin long leaves like a sativa, but reasonably stalky/short like an indica. 10 weeks harvest practically on the nose, and a sort of sweet smell, like Jam Rolly Polly when cured. Will get you a pic, Johnny from one of the latest grows, I have one finishing now but I don't I have any pics.....back in a min....

this was the last one, on the day of the chop...



As you can see...not a sniff of purple.....and this grow has some lower temps hitting it at night as well.

How many watts? thats what 80% of my BJ looks like at about 8wks at 9 they start to turn plus I use Final Phase to flush nutz out

Organic Bio Nova products, I use mainly BN Grond Supermix 5-2-4, and PK13/14.....i find that by mixing at different ratios you can get most of the desired npk ratios you need with those two, coco and soil mix.
Well those pics are at 10 weeks and I have let it go 11 and not a spot of purple to be seen. you notice in my photos on last page how fan leaves look drained and some show spot aka deficiencies I have noticed a major tasted diff from getting them to that point versus just yellowing also the more you leach out the more purple due to a def. in most purple this is the case in there genetics.

heyy. u still arounbd man?? jsut chekcin out the pics from ur full moon grow. cuz i got mine and its about 4 weeks into flower.. adn its HUGEEEEE!! like rediculously huge. about 3 ft tall.. with idek how many budsites. gonna be a nice yield. =) and glad to hear that outta all ur strains.. full moon was the best

lol Fancy seeing you here! I was looking for more info on Full Moon as well! Looks like mine will only be taking about 9 weeks to flower, instead if 11-12 like the nirvana web site says. I also did not notice any difference at all from growing a Sativa strain opposed to all of the Indica strains I've grown. The fan leaves looked about the same and flowering time was also the same. Hight might have been taller but I'm not sure because I am using a scrog style grow. I would say the Full Moon is a Low Oder strain!

lol. yeaa heyy watsup? lol. and yeaa im thinkin mine wil lonly take about 9 weeks as well. deff dont think itll last for 11+ weeks. and yeaa i havent really noticed myuch either.. the hieght is a lil diff tho. mines about 3 ft. tall. but bud structure looks like a reg. indica.. not tho long skinny lanky buds ya know? and yeaa deff a low odor strain. i LOVE the smell wen u touch the leaves tho.. its AMAZINGGGGGGG!!!! fuckin love it!! my leaves are such a dark dark green.. im hopin that it turns purple like his.. that would be AWESOME!!
