Hi!

Ok, So this is my first grow, I have got a 10 week old Afghan Kush Ryder growing in a closet under a 90w LED ufo, and a total of 350 watts of CFL. I am growing in an Aquafarm hydroponic system.

Its about 23 inches tall and pretty bushy, I got plenty of bud sites going. But alas, no buds.
I am running her 20/24, as reccomended for this strain. Should I switch to 12/12 to try and force flower?

Here are some pictures.

so what you think? Thanks for reading

:peace:

Well, they are saying its vegetative stage should only be a couple of weeks.
Not exactly happening here.
It's from World of Seeds, and I know they have had mix ups at their packing facilities in the past.
maybe I just need to switch to 12/12 see what happens.

i read up on that strain

it says it should have started flowering after 10 days of veg, then flowered for 55 days

id say its not autoflower, or a mutate.

yeah looks like it man. Its very sensitive to nutrients though, which is a Ruderalis characteristic. Maybe the strain is unstable or something.

hey OP, this thread is cool, thanks for starting it, if you switch to 12/12 you ever think about cloning her, I know it might be an autoflower strain, but it might just be an ordinary girl. It would be nice to have the strain just in case. any how can't wait to see the outcome. subscribed!

if it hasnt started flowering then it probably isnt an autoflower, you should also pick up some cal/mag, your plants would appreciate it.

purchased lowryderII seeds. They got 3 feet tall and would never flower over the summer. My guess is:
1. Not really autoflower seeds
2. too hot in my cabinet in the garage 90+ degrees
3. Lights not powerful enough

Finally chopped it yesterday and starting new seeds.

i guess i got lucky cuz my girl has been throwin hairs for the last week
ok ppl heres the thing it occured to me a short time ago that there are many ppl with autoflowers that stall for some reason consider this if it does this for some enviormental reason other than light it could be cloned and the clones would autoflower in the right enviorment just like regular clones flower in the right light enviorment allowing for a uniform autoflowering crop and no more seeds

so if you are reading this and you have a stalled auto take a cutting root it and put it in ph ballenced soil under at least 20hrs light a day and see what happens and for god sake document and share your findings

i just ordered a short ryder seed and 6 other different autoflowering strains to do some experimenting with them and see how I like them. Im sad to hear how unstable short ryder is sounding. Ill for sure make a grow journal for em.

question....when an auto flower goes into... automatic flowering are u supposed to switch the lighting to 12/12? or does it not matter?
