  • I was planning on doing that scrog, but then I realized how much
extra vegetation time it took to fill the sucker up, especially one
that size (5x5) So I bought another light, and decided to do more
plants in the same amount of space with as little of veg time
as possible in order shorten my grow cycles. It worked, I get
a harvest every 2 months. Rather than 3.

But yes, as I see it the most efficient method is to keep pushing
the branches down all through out veg until the screen is almost
full, then you trigger the flower cycle, and keep pushing the down
for another week or so in order to allow most of the stem stretching
to fill up the rest of the screen, because you want only Buds coming
through the screen, once the buds begin forming you stop touching
it all together and let the rest do itself. The buds will reach for the light
while foliage will stay below the screen and catch excess light.
Humboldt is the best best line i've used, started in
fox farm, moved to Botanicare, I've used Roots Organics
line, and thats great, although very thick and sludgy,
I've also used Canna's Line which is great as well, no
complaints, but Humboldt is the best...

I haven't used the Oneness, although I can imagine
it is very good, I know it is extremely clean, it uses
their Amino Chelating process which is by far the
the most efficient way to deliver nutes...
