Seen the movie limitless? The ying and the yang all drugs give you something but if they give you too much you gotta pay it back some other way! "VULNERABILITY" common side effect from acid and from my expirence can last a good 2 years from a good dose or 2 of some strong sh** looking back on my trips with some boys of mine some who got a little fucked up but they came back at least somewhat lol. perfect example, and a few months after trippen, turned to one of my freinds we had a nice Buzz goin on the 4th of july, there was a bunch of us. It was just beer and weed. Anyways turned to my one freinds and said sarcasticly (we were next to a bridge by a lake), Man that water looks soo refreshing (like sewer water) if you jump in i'll do a fucken cannon ball off the bridge lol
He to my shocking surprise jumped in with shoes ciggeretes fon everything. Man oh man i felt bad he believed me. Thats just one example i connected the dots theres a whole lot more. And i know a little weed and alcohol can make u do things but we werent shit faced lol
Another weird one don't know if it's common or not, dont think so but i had a major break out of zits on my forehead for 3 fucken weeks i almost turned antisocial lol

Yup Lsd knew the guy for 5 yrs before he got fucked 1 yr after he took 1 and a half hits of triple dipped white fluff he was fucked up. But he came back to normal. And not everyone is vulnurable in the same ways, another guy might have told me yea right what ever, but then get suckerd in to something tottaly different. I know i was, im just sayen man everything has a side effect and with a sky high 14 hr trip going to another fucken dimension, not knowing if youll ever be sain again not caring thinking its funny.. lol theres gonna be a side effect with somethen that gets you that high.

He was a severe case, more likely took him 2 yrs to not notice any change in him. But hey what doesnt kill you can make you stronger. Im not knocking lsd but vulnerbility is there in alot of users sometimes you gotta look closer to see it.

Interesting i havent breakouts/moments of random gullibility and ive taken some descent LSD. Plenty of people have taken crazy huge doses of LSD numerous times over a long period of time (albert hoffman lived healthfully until he was 102).
I would say everyone is different.

I was thinking about this actually after I saw Limitless, which only kinda confirmed my original thought about a long term come down....

Shrooms are probably a better way to go for little to no withdrawal symptoms, but I do love my girl lucy :)

I have been on very large doses of LSD and held my shit together without jumping off things .... perhaps
your friend is impressionable by nature. Lots of sheep in this world. Nothing wrong with that.
We all have to grow into Our Shoes. As we fight with our ID for something to prove.

They say weed will not kill you ... but let me tell you this ..
I have this BUD .... if you smoke it and I put you at the
nearest Cross Walk .... You will surely get hit by a car.

Less is always more. Safety first.

You gotta ask, what are people after when they take that much LSD? To see kundalini rise in your body? To get blasted, fried? I mean it would just make the same aspects of a trip more prominent IMO.
It would suck to hurt my body in any way, but to lose my mind to a drug... tut tut... lol

So question, I met a guy quite recently at a random fancy dress party at university. I have only known him for 2 months now but I`m a bit worried about him and psychedelics, practically because I`m the one getting this dude the acid (I`m not a dealer!)

So I tried to pick up his history of drug use to have better judgement. He is 19 years old, smoked weed since 16, taken lots of mdma and ketamine (up to.5g ket at once). Done mushrooms once and ayahuasca twice. I told him I was taking LSD and ended up getting him a tab too. His trip included lots of spirituality and talking to gods&godesses.

So he said when he went back home after the acid was coming down, he saw faces on the wall and talked to them. We are talking about a white wall too. He is too scarily peacefull with the fact that he can talk to faces on walls. He also just talks and mumbles complete nonsense all the time and says he gets rid of his thoughts like that, and doing it increasingly more after taking lsd but I can`t tell as he might just be more comfortable around me from knowing me longer?

So I`m getting some acid for myself and the dude wants some too. So, I don`t want anything bad to happen to him and I don`t think he should take it that soon. Few weeks after the trip while he was drunk he said acid has changed him and he will just do things now rather than think or something like that (I didn`t like the sound of that btw)

So what would you guys do in my place, just get him a tab and see how he does? Am I asking too many stupid questions and have I not took enough acid? :) I don`t trust my judgement on this case as I`m not a very spiritually compatible person and have said I`d get him the acid. Should I? He also has this trait of speaking complete nonsense, as in complete. Say he just meets you talks for 5 mins then says a random "orange juice love man bye bye" kinda line, lol No oranges around to specify. I would blame myself if he fucks up his university or something...

Biggest thing of all is, he took LSD 1st time last month and this time would be completely recreational...

Proceed with caution ... at own risk.
As much as you are telling us ... you are telling us noting.
When you speak with this person ... figure out why he
does drugs to start with ... then substitute the awesome
power of LSD (at it's worst) and deduce.

I would never offer to share LSD with someone not ready.
As a TRIP ... might compromise ... a fragile foundation
of a fragile mind.

U are responsible as you play a role.

Detroit J420 you are complementing the thoughts I had and yes, blown off the fucking hinges... You made me let out a lol there :)

Puffer, I will play a role inevitably and there are 2 roles which I can imagine and to specify, I`m a very bad liar, specially to friends and about subjects which im not %100 sure about the decision I made.

So there are 2 actions, get lsd or don`t get lsd.

Getting LSD means taking the risks attached...

Not getting LSD demands an explanation, one which speaks my thoughts and one which dilutes them with sugar. Do I just dilute them with sugar and tell him I`m not getting him lsd because he is tripping too soon, or because he has had his share of drugs in my opinion and I`m not a person to contravene my own opinion?

What if bad things escape, he is spiritual and quite sort of... sure of what he belives and ignorant when needs be... Sort of make spiritual excuses for unacceptable actions if that makes sense... What if its an assault on his personality, beliefs and lifestyle? That seems the only way he will digest such a thing... fuck sake...

See what I mean by lsd being legalised and prescribed after psychiatric observation of some sort? Who the fuck do we ask now, our GP? lol

But clearly, talking complete bullshit and muttering words isn`t a good sign so I`m thinking of not getting it, for now.

Sorry for half hijacking the thread but what would you guys say apart from no to this? Dilution is what I`m asking for. :)

The quote "to each his own" comes to mind. We all have different tolerances and chemicals react within us differently. My friend can take 1 tab and be down the rabbit hole while I sit on two tabs feeling like I've only smoked a joint. If you don't trust your own judgment then do not give your friend the LSD. Tell him the truth. In the end no one can help him except him self, however, you can make a difference. It seems to me that your friend wasn't prepared or wanted the drugs to much. Tell him you think he need to take a breather and get back on his feet. If he says no then that pretty much says all.

For me 1 Common long term side effect from LSD ..... would be
happiness .. in realization of connectivity to all.
I also realize that I do not have any psychological deviations ... which have manifested as of yet.
Throughout my use of this substance. Thus, effects from one person to another, certainly vary.

This reminds me of my old friend that went crazy & currently homeless. Wash your hands of it, because if anything happens it's on your conscious. Plus if he gets into trouble who do you think he's going to point the finger at.

Its not really a finger pointing scenario as he came with me to buy it. I was buying the LSD for 4 other friends in his group and it was a bit difficult for him to not be aware of this. He ended up turning up at my house before I was seeing the dealer with his cash and left me no choice but for him to come with me and to get it. I don`t think this dude is on the path to insanity, but if he is its not going to happen quickly.

He ended up turning up at mine talking at the speed of light with two massive pupils the other day, lol Took me just a few seconds to figure out what was going on. We had a great time and did loads of stupid things and smoked T bones, I think he is just one of those prototypes and won`t be going insane, not in a hurry anyway. Like Dr. Gonzo, too weird to live and too rare to die :)

I do apologise for disobeying the advice that I asked and accepted here though, after all I asked and intended to follow. Nevertheless, he is still mentally here and I`m missing his company during university break :)

I am going to make an effort to take him at least a few feet out of spirituality as he is too far in though, I`m sure that will help his life.

And I can`t wait to take my lsd, planning it in 10 days or so time :)

Has anyone tried putting one of them sleep aid eye cover things (sold at airports and used in airplanes) to aid the closed eyed visuals of lsd? Just an off topic idea :) Or, a warm damp cloth on the eyes while lying in a yoga corpse position type thing?

Long term maybe but it does tend to wear off after a decade or two.
Well you can always take it again? :)

And I think there are things that wear off and things that don`t. I`m sure there are loads of subtle things left over after a decade or two, but to me people who have taken psychedelics are always different people, there is something else to them which you can notice, unlike other people. (including a 70 year old guy who took mescaline during his 30s) I`m gonna say thats one of the things that never wears off. Its like cannabis smokers just *somehow* knowing a person they just met would enjoy a spliff :)

LSD and I have parted ways, it told me in no uncertain terms TWICE because I was too stupid to listen the first time, that we were done.

If that is the case then let it be. I know someone who has Lucy as his choice of drug and has parted his ways now too.

Time will come when I will part ways too, at least I think I will.. Its way too soon yet, we are only on our 3rd date =)
