If you want a quaranteed germ method, throw your seeds in a cup of water with an airstone in it bubbling away in a dark place. Did this with my Jilly seeds and they popped in 1 day, planted that night, they are now happy little sprouts 3 days after I first put them in the water to germ :)...

Um, I think if you check the green house site and go to germination info, it says to water germ (put them in a cup of clean water in the dark) the colored seeds for 24h FIRST, this removes the coating and than you put them into the moist paper towel.....
