    Hi from DC

yeah @Gbuddy, i built that light, i have some electronics education, but my main source of information for how to design it came from all the LED pros here. to my knowledge, no manufacturer is building cxb3590 based lamps, and if they are, they're charging a lot more than they cost to build...

    Hi from DC

What you're doing sounds amazing. Best of luck indoor, I'm sure you'll do well! My preferred business would be wholesale cultivation, but i like the idea of producing specialty growing equipment too.

will my cfl light okay to grow?

i don't think a 65 watt cfl would burn a leave unless it was touching it for a while i also concur with everyone about the amount of light, your fine with that in early veg, if it grows tall and skinny, it wasn't enough light. if that happens, bury it a little deeper when you repot if you can...

    Will ohio legalize

it's a shame about the state only allowing 10 cultivation centers. those permits will be worth millions. nothing beats a state issued monopoly. rich get richer..

Is my LED light too hot?

Hello- I just turned on my first DIY LED light and the heat coming off the lights was a lot higher than I was expecting (could be normal, i just don't know). how hot should they be? they were definitely too hot to touch, i held my finger close to the led and it was hot. any advice is...
