yeah @Gbuddy, i built that light, i have some electronics education, but my main source of information for how to design it came from all the LED pros here. to my knowledge, no manufacturer is building cxb3590 based lamps, and if they are, they're charging a lot more than they cost to build...

i don't think a 65 watt cfl would burn a leave unless it was touching it for a while i also concur with everyone about the amount of light, your fine with that in early veg, if it grows tall and skinny, it wasn't enough light. if that happens, bury it a little deeper when you repot if you can...

do you notice any potency changes with revegged buds? i think this debate is best settled by the botanists. i'm also flowering some revegged clones right now. the whole staggered nodes vs even nodes thing weirds me out

the heatsinks were warm to the touch, but not hot. based on the heat i felt when i put my finger near the led- it would have burned me for sure.
