Hi from DC

Hey All- been lurking for almost a year now. I really dig this community, hope to help out and make it even better!

I'm addicted to growing and love studying grow-tech, big follower of the industry and angling to start a legit business around this. Just wrapping up my 2nd indoor harvest this year and just finished my first LED grow light (cxb3590 based).

What you're doing sounds amazing. Best of luck indoor, I'm sure you'll do well!
My preferred business would be wholesale cultivation, but i like the idea of producing specialty growing equipment too.

That's awesome I don't see this growing thing going anywhere anytime soon or ever lol. That would be good to get into the whole equipment manufacturing there's a demand for good equipment always ..... I've been involved with indoor grows with my partners forever just never had my own set up til now so will see I expect good things though

Welcome to riu.
you want to help out and make it even better?
I see you have the right attitude man.nice to have you around!

Your grow looks good
Did you built the light with the four cree cobs in the picture yourself. If yes or if you are technically educated or something I could maybe help out with one our two ideas to set ya nose on track.
try to start a
"CUSTOM MADE GROWEQUIPMENT Service"

Peace

yeah @Gbuddy, i built that light, i have some electronics education, but my main source of information for how to design it came from all the LED pros here. to my knowledge, no manufacturer is building cxb3590 based lamps, and if they are, they're charging a lot more than they cost to build! would love to hear your ideas!

Wow respect bro.
same with lec lights.

Have you ever found that it sucks somehow to do ph adjustments dayly in hydrosystems?
Today people are a lot like "set and forget" style.
this guys who love fishtanks have solved this problem by using co2 infusion into the water. They use a co2 bootle hooked up to a small device. The device is meassuring and monitoring your ph and regulating it by controlled release of co2 due to a valve.
you can set the ph you like and the only thing you have to do is changing the co2 bottle when empty. I think the device is between 500-1000 bucks. I just can remember one brand its the dennerle ph controller for fishtanks.

Think about the same for hydro setups

Btw. I was close to building a light like yours too but I would need to order the cobs in china and 5 was the minimum they would send. I am doing micro only this days and would need two only. Now I think about lec with low wattage.
