    Question regarding heatsink/surface area QB288

How warm are the boards supposed to be in optimal conditions? The diode denisity is a lot less than the QB288, there are 301 LM301B's on it. I have just ran this board for 24 hours at 120 watts without heatsink, without airflow the board is getting warm to the touch but still able to hold it...

    Question regarding heatsink/surface area QB288

Hi rollitup, I have been looking at quantum boards for some time now and I have a question regarding thermal management on the QB288. The HLG QB288 is 6.833x11.25" = roughly 78 sq inch of surface area to dissipate the heat. At their website they state that it may require an heatsink or aluminum...

    InvisibleSun R Strip Emerson effect

Hi Guys, I have seen a topic here before about the R strip, see link: https://invisiblesunled.co.uk/collections/quantum-boards/products/ish-sun-strip I was just wondering what you think of the red/far red ratio to utilise the emerson effect? Is it worth adding 730nm leds? Thanks!

The Chinese Quantum Board Knock Off Builds

What about R2T? Been reading good reviews on them too, really like the rock board strips with lm301b and lh351h 660nm.

    Which driver will run these?

Hello, I'm currently looking at some pcb's containing 240pcs lm301b 3500k and 14pcs cree xpe 660nm. These are in same string as the lm301b chips. I would like to run 5 pcb's at around 100w each on one driver. I was looking at the hlg-480h-2100 series as a lot of the quantum board kits run on...

Seems exactly the same light as a company called Geyapex is selling on Alibaba.

    LM301B + 660NM?

The lights will be used for full cycle. I want at least 3500k because of the added blue. Have grown with 3000k only side by side vs hps and plants ended up almost identical in size. I favor smaller/stockier plants.

    LM301B + 660NM?

Thanks guys, would it be any good to add 730nm? If so how many of the 660nm should I replace for the 730nm?

    LM301B + 660NM?

Hello, Just a quick question, I'm looking at some nice lm301b boards with 240 lm301b and 16 pcs xpe 660nm. These will draw 96w from the wall. Would 3500k + 660nm be good or because of the added red would it be better to go for 4000k with 660nm? Thank y'all

Big build, 28x vero 29 at 3360w what CRI and lenses

Hello, Am about to begin this build with 2 rooms, each with 14x vero 29 C at 1.75a around 120w. Will mount them on 150x120mm pin Fin heatsinks together with Khatod PL1845SR ultra clear silicone square pattern lens. They will be driven in series by HLG-480H-1750C drivers and two HLG-240H-1750C...

Does anyone have more information about the new khatod or ledil vsm square silicone lenses?

    Best lenses available atm?

So if I understand this correctly the distribution of the ledil lens is a square pattern (VI) type? Quite confusing because they show pictures which are in circular pattern.. They used the Vero18 in the pdf file, les of vero 29 is bigger. Would the beam be tighter or wider with larger les?

    Best lenses available atm?

Hello, I've been doing some research on lenses. Have read all kinds of topics here on riu and other boards. I am planning on running vero 29 gen 7 version c at around 120w on passive pin fin sinks. I have seen the khatod ultra clear silicone v type lens, silicone lens from kingbrite and the...
