    Reusing soil

Using Subcools recipe, you would start out in a perlite/wc/peat, then transplant to roots organic before transplanting to 1/2 super soil and 1/2 base soil. Can you use reuse the roots (base) soil you used for the first transplant or do you have to use new base soil when transplanting into pot...

    First Time DWC

I am helping a friend set-up a room and need some input. -6x5 room -2x600 w HPS/MH Air Cooled -6 in fan -12 5gal buckets (legal for 12) vegging 4 weeks Flowering hopefully around 60 days 1)With this set-up would it be reasonable to expect 5 oz per plant 2) How big i.e how long can you...

How do you work that out? Work backwards from flowering dates? Are there dates when flowering will start.

    Southern Cali

Any idea when the latest dates are to plant outside? I always here as long as it is after the last frost but, is there a point when it is to late? Would April-May still be ok?

    Super Soil

Is there an alternative to super soil that will allow me to just add water instead of nutrients ? I was looking into subcools recipe but, was wondering if there was something on the market that was either pre-packaged or only had to be mixed minimally like FF+ something else.

    Perpetual Growing

In my opinion it starts getting to be a lot of work when you start having multiple generations in the flower room and the veg room. You are always working. I have seen people make it simple by just keeping two generations in the flower room at a time that way you can keep just the new...

Oh boy, can you expand on that? Does that just mean make sure the plant has grown to 5-6 nodes or to wait long enough between prunings?

    How Much Light?

Well, the room is actually closer to 6x5. -If 1000w covers 5x5 and from what I have read that is with a good hood, why would it be too much? What would you use instead 2-400w? -I have never used a 1000w light so, I am trying to learn as much as I can.

    The Main-Lining Thread

I need of some clarification. I have never mainlined and want to make sure I do not screw up. I have looked at all the pics but, sometimes fan leaves are left on or the pics are a bit out of order and I get confused. 1)How does the drawing look? Am I understanding correctly? 2) After the first...

    How Much Light?

I have grown under 400w and 600w never more than 8 plants. I am just finishing up a 6 plant grow. That is my concern if I go for a 1000w with 5x5 coverage I want to get as many plants as I can. I first grew 2 plants under 400w and with the Cali energy costs it was a damn near waste.

    How Much Light?

This is the issue I was concerned about but, to help with this I plan to mainline 8 colas keeping everything the same height.

    How Much Light?

Kind of lost here. So, 9 plants under 600w? I am asking about 1000w.

    How Much Light?

Is the space being used only part of the equation when growing or are the number of plants also a factor? I have seen 1000w lights with hoods that have an area cover of 5x5. If your grow room is 5x5 and covered in reflective material can you put as many plants as you want, given you have enough...

Oh, I know. I grow in coco/perlite. I was asking why you suggest hempy instead of the supersoil.
