Do Lower Temperatures Really Change The Color Of Certain Strains?

It's the same concept, do you think your MJ is something special? Or is being a pot grower above regular science?

    Ghost Pepper

The ghost is hot enough you want to wear gloves to handle, it's dangerous for animals and such as well so you really gotta be careful where you put them. What color habanero was it? I grew some chocolate habaneros one year that were scorching, they were even too hot. Now it's just tons of sweet...

Do Lower Temperatures Really Change The Color Of Certain Strains?

Is this a troll thread? One of my females I clone gets purple pistols with colder nighttime temps just about every time. You can't really simulate it indoors, gotta let nature do it's thing. The last couple years I've put them in a greenhouse for an extra couple weeks after frost. Here's a good...

Can You Clone From A Flowering Plant And Raise It In A Vegetative State?

Yeah they'll start back from a single blade usually and work their way back up to more.

    Reddish leaves? Help?

I save discount plants all the time, they just take patience. My 50 cent african violets are covered in bouquets of blooms. This time of year it was probably something tropical they left outside to get bitten by the frost so if you keep it inside in warm semi bright light it should recover...

Can You Clone From A Flowering Plant And Raise It In A Vegetative State?

If you're seeing new growth, then the reveg worked and you'll be seeing more each day. It will completely stop growing for a while sometimes and others it will just start making more leaves instead of flowers. Again back to genetics, ya gotta play with it.

Can You Clone From A Flowering Plant And Raise It In A Vegetative State?

Don't feel bad if it doesn't work, some genetics just won't reveg. I finally gave up on one I've been trying to wake back up since July.

    Reddish leaves? Help?

Need to know what it is to be able to help. Does it not have a tag? Purpling on leaves is akin to our skin tanning in some species. In sun loving things like MJ the purpling is genetic usually as even in this crazy Florida sun I've never sunburnt MJ. If you're worried about it drying out, you...

Water During 2 Days of Darkness?

The idea of keeping clones under 24/0 is for stopping fungal growth. Darkness lets mold grow so by keeping your lights on, it keeps the mold back. Before someone jumps in here and tells me artificial lights won't do it -they need to try to grow moss under their lights and then talk.

Water During 2 Days of Darkness?

You're attemping to mimic the changing of the seasons, it takes a couple of weeks regardless if you give it huge blocks of darkness. Unless you're going from a 24/0 veg and you have a picky strain (Sativa doms act weird sometimes under 24/0) there is no reason to deprive it of light any more...

    layering your garden

Layering is for things that take a really long time to root IE: shrubs and trees, soft stems on MJ let it root in less than a week. I've tried it a few times with some lanky sativas out in the yard but it wasn't really worth the effort.Kinda neat to try I guess if you want to see if you can do...

its anyones guess? spots all over plants

That sir is a fungal infection, you don't see it in marijuana near as much as you do in other plants but it still happens. The best way to handle an infection is fresh air and to cut back on your watering for a few days (let it dry out almost before watering) Sure you can use a fungicide but the...

    starting a garden

Indoor veggies are fail, you have to hand pollinate and they taste like water. Grow outside under the sun, it's legal man.

    Oranges?

Orange trees take seven years to bare fruit bro, and then it's only a small chance that it will be able to bare. All the trees for sale are clones (grafts) These will bare usually within 2-3 seasons of the graft taking.

    Good Shade Plants??

At the beginning of the season you just need to buy a couple trays of Impatiens and a good sprinkler. Give them lots of water all year long in your full shade spot. Water them every day, they like being cool. The more showy New Guinea hybrids grow slower but tend to have larger flowers and take...

Need help with humidity. Anybody know how to raise it.

A bowl with rocks in it underneath will work well if you can keep it topped off every day. I do this with my clones I'm hardening off. Just grab a glad container and fill it halfway with lava rock. As it evaporates off your rocks it'll keep it humid around the plants above it.

Does anyone know whats going on???? (PICS) please help

The solution is not always add more food, unless you're using something like fish fertilizer don't always jump to this first. What is your air flow situation? This time of year it's still pretty hot so mid day temps can soar. All of the above problems happen from lack of air flow. Waterlogging...

    Hibiscus Cannabinus

For you gusy wanting to grow something else besides MJ, this is as much of a look alike as you're going to find. I was given seeds from a friend at work this year but mine aren't old enough to bloom yet. It's called Hibiscus Cannabinus or Hibiscus Kenaf. The flowers are edible and the plants...
