+1 on iced bottles, you can add all the insulation you want, but if the water is warm they won't get magically cooler. Good insulation + iced bottles = temps under control.

DON'T STORE THE PH PROBE/ELECTRODE IN DISTILLED WATER This is adviced in all the electode's manuals, this causes the electrode's reference potential to change. The proper way to store it is in KCl 3M solution (that's what Hanna or whatever manufacturer sells you as storage solution).
