Roots not going into water. Not enough oxygen?

Hi RIU!
I'm now running my first DWC setup, with pretty satisfactory results. But i'm having a little issue... the roots are growing fine, no rot at all, and they grow pretty fast. But they don't get submerged into the water. It's like they stop growing when they get close to the water. It's weird. I tried bringing down the water level about one inch, and they quickly grown into that inch, but stay out of the water. I'm using a 40 liter cooler, with about 30 liters of water, and 4 airstones connected to 2 9.5l/min air pumps. I'm thinking that there's not enough dissolved O2 in the water, does that makes sense? I keep water temps around 20degrees and treat it with H2O2 every a few days. What do you think?

Thanks!

it should want to grow into the water on its own, maybe your solution is bad
try cleaning everything and trying again

maybe try a root product like roots excel or rapidstart

If the plant is healthy, dont worry about it.
Yes, it's healthy but it was still weird :)
The "out of the water" part of the res was getting crowded, so i lowered the water level even more, and the roots started growing again and went into the water now (like 1 of 2 inches into it at the moment). Maybe it's just this fucked up clone i got (growing a little weird too, like a few 2 and 4 finger fan leaves), who knows.
