Res/tote size (100l vs. 140l)

Hi there!
First some background: I'm planning to grow in a 4x4' tent with 600 (or 1000w) of light, SCRoG style.

Currently planning/building my first DWC rig, were originally going to use 5gal buckets (4 of them) managing them individually (with 3 different strains), then planning to migrate to a distributed solution, but were having some trouble finding the buckets (I'm from Argentina) and found some 100 liter (25gal) and 140 liter (36gal) totes at a pretty good price. So I'm now thinking of doing 2 "monster" plants in 6" net pots using these totes. What pros/cons do you see using the 100l vs the 140l one? Any other suggestions regarding the setup?

Thanks in advance for your answers!

PS: I'm planning to use a pump to drain the res, and to install a drain port in the bottom too, to have another option.

I would go for the 100 litre, 140 is just overkill for 2 plants. Also make the net pots as big as you can to facilitate a wider root ball. You may need a couple of airstones to cover the bottom of the tote because I assume it's going to be a quite big. Other than that I think it could be interesting to see what monsters that much room could produce.

my suggestion would involve igloo coolers.
Wow, now that i think of it (or it could be that i'm stoned? lol) that sounds like a great idea. Altought i might have to go with a smaller res due to budget reasons, keeping some iced bottles inside the cooler would be a pretty efficient way of controlling temperature (didn't think of that at the moment because we're facing winter). I found a 45 liter rubbermaid (with drain hole) cooler for about the same size as the 140 liter tote, and i think i'll buy it :)
For the net-pots, i'm trying to see what sizes i can get, i think i'll end up drilling/cutting some regular round pots...

I have 2 of the 150 qt 7 day marine igloo coolers.
Was planning on using them in a DWC setup.

The biggest draw back I feel is the amount of nutes it would require to treat 36 gal.

I run mine with water pump and sprayers that are feeding the roots above the water/nutrient level. means I can use less water/nutrient and also there's very little risk in the pump failing, actually there's great risk in the pump failing UNLESS you run a filter but if the pump does fail it doesn't really mean much since the roots are still being fed.
