I spy a mini air pot! love those things

LEDs are about as basic as it gets. Building one is well within my technical ability it's just I'm not convinced it's actually cheaper. I found myself wanting to copy area 51 and it quickly became apparent I should just buy their fixture. If I could build something similar for cheaper I would have.

I had a similar experience and decided that the price difference was so negligible that I may as well just buy something good. Also it seems to me it's hard to source quality diodes at reasonable prices. It seems impossible to verify if what you're buying is even real.

I'd do a bit more research before spending any money as you seem confused on some core concepts. IE, lumens don't matter at all for growing plants.

Not trying to start shit but what evidence is there that Apache Tech is actually better? Have there been any side by sides?

If you're looking for a trust worthy company most people are going to tell you to buy Area 51 and they'd be right to do so. No one else is as transparent about what components they use or how you can expect it to preform. No one else offers a lifetime warranty or an upgrade program.

Is that a sticky trap full of gnats? If so I've found a top layer of perlite kills those little bastards. They lay their eggs in the soil but they can't burrow through the perlite so the eggs get trapped under it and the remaining ones flying around just die off.

What I do is similar to mainlining but it's sort of my own technique that I've developed. I top the plant and leave four main nodes. I guess that's known as "Uncle Bens Topping" though I discovered it on my own. A few weeks later I top those 4 main nodes again turning each of them into 2-4 tops...

Took more tops\clones and did a bit of defoiling\training. The Cotton Candy looks like it's two weeks ahead even though these are all the same age. A bunch of plants in the nursery are ready to give up tops but I just got sick of doing it. dis gon be good :weed:
