Make sure they have sufficient light nutrients and also when its at 12/12 make sure theres no light leaking in couse this can make them hermy and slow down flower production.

even if u used automatic strains to get 3 pounds youd need like a 100 plants if not more and that would require thousands of watts of hps. so its pretty doubtful anyone could pull 3 pounds in 2 months.
