Some basic questions about growing outside.

Sup, this is my first post on this forum... i have some basic questions, i looked in the "Already asked questions" sticky, but the answer to my questions weren't there, so i hope it's alright that i ask them here

1. If i have an outdoor plant, can i harvest it throughout it's lifetime, or only when it's harvesting time? E.g... After 40 days of growing, can i start picking buds off the plant?

2. If the answer to question #1 is yes, then how much will i be recieving from an indica strain every month?

3. Can you buy the ideal ingrdients for a fertilizer in a gardening center?

4. Roughly how long do you need to let the buds dry for?

if you harvest before its ready you will possibly get bad or weak smoke depending on how much trichs had formed.
40 days flowering or 40 days from start to finish, becouse im sure some strains could possibly be smokeable after 40 days flowering,
but if ur suggesting 40 days from seed then i highly doubt it will be smokable you will probably just have a bush.

what you could do is get a auto flowering strain plant em in pots and just leave them outside and most strains will finish in under 3 months from start to finish.

Wait, so after 40 days outside growing, i can start to harvest the buds?

The deal is how much light the plant is getting, if you got a plant that's got less then 12 hours daylight and the top buds are done but the lower buds are not finished or you want to grow them larger then yes, you can take the top colas and continue to grow the buds. Once you get more the 13 hours daylight the plant if not harvest will revert back to its veg state and continue to grow.

I harvest them all at once but you can check out my green house grow where I'm dealing with daytime hours, I just went through a winter harvest and about to harvest my spring grow.
